Ate at Denny's this morning. The Experience was awful. My dinner date didn't even eat his meal. The order was wrong, the food was cold, we didn't get even one refill of our coffee. Our server didn't even stick around to bring us our check. This was the 2nd time, with the same server; that our experience was exceptionally bad. The only good thing I can say about our experience was, the early a.m. server; that comes in right after the night server; was cheerful, and sympathetic to our complaints. He was able to change my dates mood, from horrible, to having an all right day. I don't know your name, but thank you... To the big guy, in the morning, that's been working here for quite some time... They should get rid of that lady, and give you a raise.
The staff was amazing but they were very short staffed. I came in with a large group everything was good up until we received our food everything was very cold so I asked if all 8 plates to be heated up in the microwave because I wasn't willing to wait another 20 minutes or so for fresh hot food. I wouldn't say this was the best place to eat when your hungry. But I just want to tell the dishwasher thank you because he was the only one serving us coffee not the host not the waiter the dishwasher so thank u so much without u I wouldn't have gotten any dang coffee!!!!
I was pleasantly surprised at how kind the staff were!! It was very early in the morning and they were still pleasant. One of the cooks greeted us very kindly as soon as we walked in at around 2:15am. April, Ben & Richard were phenomenal. I noticed how well they all worked together as a team. I didn’t catch the ladies name that was washing dishes but she was very kind and hard working as well. A table next to us was VERY particular with how they wanted their food and both April and the cooks Richard and Ben didn’t seem to get frustrated, irritated or anything. And that table was really(REALLY) needy. I commend them for remaining kind, professional and patient. Our food came out fast, hot & delicious. Thanks again. I was so happy about how well we were treated that I came home and told my husband about it. I really enjoyed my food and service. So did my friend.
I normally enjoy Denny's restaurants, but this time I waited about 5 minutes to be seated while the only server took orders from a table and rung up another patron before she pointed at a booth for me. When I initially entered the server told a delivery driver the order wouldn't be ready for another 15 minutes and two other drivers had left before her not wanting to wait. While I was waiting for a booth I noticed the air vents were caked with lint and grease. The place smelled like they hadn't changed the fryer oil in months and the windows were oily. After I sat down I saw the one cook had numerous orders waiting to be cooked. I still had not received a menu or utensils, so at that point I left and went to another Denny's and had a much more pleasant experience.
I love this location! I always come here in order the cinnamon roll pancakes with bacon, fruit, potatoes, And a smoothie. My server Daniel is the best and she made sure I was satisfied!! I’ll be sure to come back again as this one has clean restrooms as well. Never really that busy either even at night!
Food came out in parts,1st pancakes, then meal then after asking 2xs my toast that was "stolen" and not sourdough, omelet was messy, poorly put together and wither no flavor and rubber or soggy, no cheese or bacon on mu ultimate, restrooms are utterly disgusting beyond nasty. The staff were kind and as present as could be for being understaffed and busy.The 1 start is for the staff only if I could I'd give em a 4-5 but that would rate the venue high.
Thank you Denny's college town for Denell she is a such a great server she is on top of everything she's amazing and Kenny who is arguably one of the best cooks in Sacramento thanks man this is the only Denny's I'll go too... I recommend ?
Absolutely phenomenal staff and food! Customer service is on point and the cook Kenny is very talented. My waitress Denell did an excellent job and made me feel welcome! Highly recommend this fine establishment!
Had Denny’s pancakes and eggs and the service by Naz was great and quick, very helpful and nice! Food was tasty and had lots of clean tables. Have come back now and will continue to do so!
Party of 30 walked in. 1.5 hours to get my order.
