Please take my review with a grain of salt because I've only ordered delivery from this place, but I cannot rave about this enough! Imagine if you get Chipotle burritos... but Indian style! The burritos are MASSIVE, usually enough for me to cut into two servings and save some for later! I don't think I've ever been disappointed with their food and for someone who loves curry but can't handle any spice, their mild really hits the spot.I really appreciate their packaging and over the last year and a half I've seen it shift from typical plastics/to-go containers to cardboard/compostable materials which is a huge bonus in my book. Even their sauce containers! I'll be back to update my review once I've gotten the chance to order in-store, I'm sure.
Delicious, great for a quick bite. I would have given 5 stars, but the food was only warm. Hot would have been so much better.Try the Tahli dinners.
I came here after church around noon because I had been wanting to try this place out for a while. I wasn't sure what to get so I asked the cashier (Sierra?) what she suggested. She said the samosas, vada pav, Tikka Masala bowl, Thali platters, or her favorite Naughty Naan. I decided on a Tikka Masala paneer bowl with garbanzo beans to-go. It came out to ~$13 and my order was prepared quickly. The portions were huge and included small sides of tomatoes/onions and chutney. The bowl was definitely big enough for two people to share. I unfortunately couldn't finish it on my own! It was delicious though. I plan on coming back again to try out the other street food!
It's not inedible, it's just not flavourful or spicy. If you want Indian food I would recommend going to any local Indian restaurant. I'd compare it to someone saying they want Mexican food but then eating Chipotle. I
This place has Indian street food, and fusion options. The restaurant seemed lively with music and colorful graffiti on the wall.We tried kachori chaat which was okay. The kachori didn’t taste great. The deconstructed samosa tasted good but was too oily. The gravy could have been so much better with less oil.Chai was served with parle g biscuit. The chai tasted fine. They also serve a few Indian beers like kingfisher, beera, taj mahal etc.The service was quick, they also have an outdoor seating option. Other than placing an order at the counter, you could also place orders on the ipad located near the entrance.
Ordered on Uber Eats, chicken tikka masala was different but good. Kadhai paneer was soft paneer but too oily couldn’t eat. Naughty naan was good try. Food was warm and feels like fresh. Packing was really nice.
Oh my gosh, the food tastes like heaven in a delivery bag and I may die happy now. Everything is perfect, down to silly stickers keeping the food bag closed. I shall be back all the time. All. The. Time.
Great value, good staff! We enjoyed butter paneer Marsala and paneer tikka Marsala. Both were really good.
We ordered the american punjabi thali, vada pav and kachori chat. Vada pav and kachori were simply awesome and the taste was pretty authentic. However, the american punjabi thali was okay. The butter paneer was good but the aloo gobi was too garlicky.Ill recommend this place was having all the street side food they have on their menu.
Visited curry up now, to taste Indian food. Cute little place, clean and hygienic located in Sacramento downtown. Vibe of the restaurant was good though only 2 of us were there, they had Indian songs playing in. Sitting was good and walls were up with graffiti, good colorful background for pictures. We ordered vada pav, deconstructed samosa and a paneer burrito. I would say the quality of food was all good. But somehow found the taste bland, was expecting salt and spice in Indian food. Even the sauces for the dishes didn’t elevate the taste of the dish. Burrito was all rice and paneer no other veggies, unlike any other burrito. Would try out other dishes once more to taste other menu items.
