A most enjoyable meal. Food was delicious and service was prompt. The view on the river was wonderful. They have a cute lounge area that made for some fun pictures. Drinks were tasty. The cushions on our benches were not very comfy, other than that a wonderful experience
First time visiting yesterday for dinner at 7 PM. Parking was easy, restaurant was right on the river. We were seated quickly at an outside table, and the server was very nice, refilling our waters many time. The restaurant had misters going so it wasn't too hot. We ordered a salad, fish tacos, the Creole burrito, and jambalaya. All of the food was very good, especially the tacos. For 4 people, we paid $86 before tip. Altogether, a very positive experience and one I highly recommend.
Great time on the Sacramento River,having lunch with my wife. Our first time together at Crawdadson the River. Our server Sabrina, was great, very thorough and super friendly.We ordered a Ahi nachos and cajun chicken sandwich club. Both were very good,and portions were very good also.Great experience today :):)
The environment is very good and I bet this place is super busy during the weekend! The crab grill cheese sandwich was excellent! I also got the Dippin Out, jalapeno and queso dip and guacamole. This confused the heck out of me! The guacamole was very good but the "Queso" dip was weird. See my picture. Did they forget to heat it up or are they trying to be different! Also please clean the salt shaker once in awhile. It was so clogged that salt wouldn't come out.
Well this is California’s spin on Cajun cuisine, don’t think I dig it that much. For a restaurant named crawdads there are no Crawdaddy‘s there. Yes you can get a bucket of crawdads and that’s it. I got the gumbo chicken and Andouille sausage no crawfish and no option to get crawfish. Not even étouffée a sad state of affairs. Well I’ll leave you to make your own decision but I don’t think I’ll ever come back. Service was so so but view was nice.
First time here in awhile and they've completely redone the place. Modern and beautiful and still has the best ambiance with seating on the water. Food was really good too.
Food/drinks were pretty good and the location on the river was incredible, especially for the time of day with sunset. Don’t expect good service when you come here though – very hit or miss. Our server forgot about us and our drink orders. Other servers seemed to be hustling to do their job well, but ours could not care less. This was on a Monday, so I can only imagine how this would’ve played out on a busier evening like a Friday ? Hope we get a better server next time we come.
environment is beautiful, too bad the staff doesn't provide good customer service. from my request for seating to my dislike for my meal, I was ignored.
Excellent service! A great place to be down by the River!
We came with a party of 6 (including a toddler) for what turned out to be an enjoyable evening. The friendly waitress accommodated us in the bar area because she was not sure when a table would become available. Food and drinks were so good (albeit not exactly healthy) with a fish sandwich to die for and service continued to be friendly and quick (but not rushed at all). It was loud (TV sets running and some live music fury try er back in the restaurant) but a conversation was still possible and the noise level was part of the ambiance.
