20 years plus customer review here! Friendly Warning! Please listen carefully friends. I'm the kind of person that doesn't like to write reviews unless it is extremely bad! Listen to me folks, please go to a different Church's Chicken and don't go here (Florin Rd Church's Chicken), unless you don't know what's good chicken and can't cook! You'll thank me later, trust me.*I think it's under new management, there's new cook and there's new employees, also, the chicken is very low quality (if it's not under new management, than you're careless Church's Chicken!). I am a very good cook but am not very picky at all, so I know what's good fried chicken is! I usually go here 1-4 times a month on my lazy days and the chicken is usually okay, but today and the last 3 times, the chicken was overcooked, inside most pieces of the chicken were lots of cooked dark brown blood and the chicken bones was broken on many pieces. (I went back each time thinking the next time will get better pieces, but nope! Owner kept buying these bad quality ugly looking chicken thighs and legs). Been going here for over 20 years, but the chicken here is no longer good quality. Don't let the pretty golden batter fool you, because once you take off that skin, the inside is so dry, overcooked, broken chicken bones... and so disappointing. ***To: Church's Chicken, you're careless, you just lost a customer, including my whole clan in this area, next time, check your chicken before cooking it, wash it clean and cook only the good pieces (throw away the brown bloody pieces), make sure it doesn't overcook, and prepare like you're gonna eat it! Why? because I pay for clean chicken, bloodless, unbroken bones in the chicken.... and for your time to cook it! Ciao!
Horrible. The chicken was overdone and it didn't taste like the chicken from churches. The workers had a long line in the drive thru but they chatted with each other about personal things with no real drive to do their job. Very disappointing because it used to be one of my favorite places to eat. We will not be patronizing this establishment in the near future. Maybe an off day?
DO NOT GO HERE, I REPEAT DO NOT GO TO THIS DIABOLICAL PLACE. I literally have food poisoning and I am going back today to collect my money, that's if I can make it, I'm in pain!. I took one bite of the chicken, smelled something and tasted something funny and here I am now in serious pain. I rarely eat out so I am upset. I had to go back no less to exchange the meal because they served chicken that had been refried the first time to make it hot. Then they warned me not to get any fries. Look just DO NOT eat here, I'm really about to call the better business bureau there's no way they've had an annual inspection and still running under those conditions.
The WORST place to order thru drive thru. The last time I came to the place they had no chicken. This time I've been waiting in this line for 45 min. I should've left along time ago, but this is what my family wants to eat. I can't stand this place. They are so SLOWWW here.
Made me wait for my orders, saying they don't have enough chicken but I sit in the front parking lot and waited and continued to see them pack other people's chicken to them while I'm here waiting for 15mins now. I was told it'll be maybe 5 to 7 minutes long and it's been 15 going on 20. Ridiculous.
Food was as all other church chicken, but the service was just a decent. The guy was not sure of the prices when I asked him about a gallon of sweet tea. Then I express that it was my first time trying a burban sandwich it came to me like someone had just throw it together. I now know why I have stopped going to Church's chicken.
Unfortunately there was only one person working there. The person was doing the cooking the ordering and the serving on the drive-up window. I felt bad for him. He had gotten the order wrong too, but probably understandable being under so much pressure. The chicken was good though!
YOUNGSTER AT WINDOW WAS A LITTLE SLOW MAYBE A BEGINNER YET HE DID A GREAT JOB HE WAS FAST ON POINT. THE ONLY THING I DIDN'T LIKE WAS THAT IF CHURCHES KNOWS WE LOVE CORN ON THE COB WHY IS CHURCHES CHICKEN ALWAYS OUT OF CORN OR ONLY HAS A COUPLE PEACES.
Line was long in the drive thru, but food on point, love the biscuits. Also, young girl was grinding at the window, props for her hard work handling it. Not sure if she'll ever read this, but great hustle young lady!
Oldest hardest chicken I have ever had literally was two different colors now I finally see why most other locations have closed down
