Ribs were grey, old, cold, and had no flavor except the taste of 3 rounds of charcoal with a side of cold bbq sauce. Greens were old and squishy. I'm sure nothing here is up to health code... Staff is unprofessional. Next...
Was craving some greens and looked up soul food we went with this place to try someplace new we usually go to Louisiana heaven…definitely disappointed beyond belief..food is cold, absolutely no seasoning in anything from the fried shrimp and fish to macaroni, do not order these greens if you actually want real home cooked southern greens these are 2 meats 1 side plates we had one more plate with fried shrimp and chicken which was for my son definitely not worth the 72 dollars we just paid for this meal at all so disappointed
I went into this restaurant and felt welcomed right away I tried the half rack of ribs they fell right off the bone and were super moist the mac & cheese was amazing and the yams reminded me of my moms cookin . I also tried there new fish with potato wedges it was very flavorful definitely some of the best fish I’ve had in a good minute
Nasty bbq. It’s not soul food . Meat isn’t tender, but ruff , yams dry no juice on it just brown sugar Mac and chess’s okay
I purchased a two way and when I tell you the food is bomb..Excellent customer service and the entire staff was friendly..The only complaint I have is that I didn’t know this place was here sooner lol..I live practically next door and just learned of this restaurant..Maybe make flyers and go door to door in the neighborhood ? Because ppl who don’t know about this place are missing out :) I would definitely recommend..

HorribleDon't waste your money. I should have taken heed when someone returned their food while i was waiting for mine smh. Portions terribly small ,cornbread dry , I question whether the small 6 slice tri tip or the single drumstick was even smoked tasted like it was cooked in oven. I like to support small businesses ,but they made it impossible. I would never recommend this place sad that I went.

Tri tip had no bbq sauce i paid for mac n cheese and yams didnt recieve them!
