Tried it for the first time yesterday and I’m sad I didn’t come here sooner. The desserts here are so good. The ice cream and drinks are the perfect amount of sweetness and I felt like the prices were fair as well. I’m happy they also have milk substitutes for their drinks. They had oat milk, soy, and almond. I got the strawberry matcha latte and it was delicious although kinda small. My friends got the maiko special and the portion is huge and def enough for two people in my opinion. I will be back!
This is the lame "Large" They claim is the maximum they can do. I kindly asked, then insisted to have more after paying $7.50 only to have them patronize me, write down a manager email, and then walk.
Unfortunately, this Sacramento location has turned into a complete disappointment! Employees are rude, portions have gotten smaller over time and it's now false advertising what they do...
This place has the most delicious shaved green tea ice ever. I love their softserve. Their strawberry matcha latte was S tier too. The soft serve isn't too milky, strong matcha flavor. Interior is new and modern. I enjoyed it a lot. One of the best matcha dessert places I've tried in US.
I stopped in here on a whim and was not disappointed. My soft serve was perfection—sweet vanilla mixed with smoky, earthy matcha. This place is definitely a hidden gem, you have to check it out.
Great place to get dessert. They let dogs in the store. And the also have board games and card games you can play while you eat. And they have a new flavor every month! In October or November (I can't remember) they had purple yam flavor. It was my absolute favorite. Great place no doubt. Definitely will be going back. (For the 100th time) ??
The staff are so friendly, and the owner (the sweet wife and husband couple) are really endearing. (Jokes about how the younger staff are quicker than them, or their genuine concern about getting all the toppings onto my soft serve.)All their seasonal flavors are so good, but so are all their regular flavors. The boba is really good too!The owners are the sweetest so I hope that this place always has good times for them. :)The servings are so generous, I have to make sure I'm ready to eat it all!
The most delicious matcha boba sundae; if you’re stopping to get one thing GET THIS.The matcha is not overly sweet and the boba tastes delicious and not overly processed/sweet. Has a very soft consistency and is deliciously warm and compliments the coolness of the matcha icecream.Customer service is 100%; very attentive and courteous.My fav dessert spot in Sacramento !
We love Café Maiko! The staff are so kind and friendly, and the matcha really hits the spot! Also love the smell of the fresh waffle cones. The soft serve is my favorite, although everything there is tasty. I always look forward to the flavor of the month too.
Service is always great, prices a little high for soft serve, but is a niche market. Wish there were more black sesame options because I love the contrasting flavors.
