It's OK for the location. It looks like the owner cleaned the outside up. The interior is always clean starting with the floors, tables counter tops easy to feel comfortable in this diner. There is lots to choose from the menu and the prices are fair. The place has a steady array of loyal customers.
This place is ALWAYS off the hook! I'm a born and raised West Coast kid that went to college in the south (Tuskegee, Alabama) and can attest to great southern food. However, the West Coast, in my opinion, has the BEST burgers without a doubt, and BURGER JUNCTION gets an EXTREMELY high ranking from me! ?? Hands down some of the best burgers in Sacramento, and all of California! A must try! ??

Just a really wholesome burger joint. The burgers are delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Plus you get that classic atmosphere. The kind of burger place you can't really engineer; it's probably been doing its thing for years and doing it well.
I have drove passed this place a few times since I am new to this area, and finally decided to go in. I was greeted by the works and proceeded to order a burger with fries and a drink. The total came out to about $16 and was surprised at the price but still paid for it and took the food home. The food was okay, the burger felt a bit on the bland side. The fries were soggy and iffy but overall don't think I would come back or recommend this place to others, maybe I just got a badly cooked meal and was just a hiccup, I would like to give them the benefit of the doubt.
Burger Junction has been around for YEARS. This place is the place to go if you want a good burger that isn't fast food. A good amount of beef. The cheese is melty and they don't over do it with the produce. The fries a decent, they don't salt them so make sure you have some salt nearby. The buns are similar to Kaiser rolls.The double double with cheese is pretty great. The giant junction cheese burger has pastrami in it. There are solid options here for burgers. Try it on a weekend for an early lunch or something.
