I love this place can't wait to go back again with friends.
We enjoyed our lunch outdoors before the show a Music Circus. We enjoyed the food and convenient location.
I understand now why my (most experienced and excellent) server was not completely hot on the entree I choseâ¦it was not the best that nightâ¦.But it was all still good.
A mixed experience. The ambience was nice, the server, Dane, very good and efficient, the food was the issue. The shishito peppers were excellent, the tartare also was very good. Our party of 6 had the steak (quite good), pork chop (ok, a little dry) the halibut special (quite dry - neither ate it), and the short ribs (also dry). Overall, quite disappointed in the food. The restaurant is small, but nice, and servers all friendly. Not sure we'll return
Food was alright customer service was great but pricey. Nice french restaurant near the capital.
Made reservations and dressed up for the occasion. There were people in t-shirts and shorts dining there so we felt a little overdressed. . The service was pretty good, once we got seated , and the duck I ordered was a little dry. Not a bad place to try if you are downtown.
Excellent restaurant. Tables (cheap and wobbly) should be upgraded, otherwise a perfect experience. The servers, food, menu, etc. are perfect.
We dined at Brasserie du Monde before the theater for several reasons including reviews by Open Table, recommendations from friends, and a discount offered by the restaurant for attending the theater. When we arrived most tables were still occupied so we chose to sit at the bar. Jeremy made great cocktails and took our orders which were delivered promptly. The food was very good. The atmosphere was elegant and everyone was friendly and helpful. We had a very nice dinner and then walked to the theater for a fun rest of the evening. Would highly recommend this restaurant and hope to return for our next cultural outing.
Enjoyable quasi-French experience
French Onion Soup was delicious as was the French bread. The BÅuf Bourguignon en Fusili de Maison was excellent and so were the desserts we ordered. The only negative for the meal was the fish of the day--Swordfish. The salad it came with was exceptional, however the fish was overcooked and had a very "fishy" odor when brought to the table. When my friend advised the waiter of this, no apologies made and the service was a bit awkward after that. Overall, a good meal and would recommend dining there--just stay away from the fish!
