The combo meal with the soup and half sandwich is the perfect light lunch. The tuna was delicious but especially on the fresh sourdough. Sourdough croutons on the soup were a great touch. Tomato soup was super fresh and flavorful too. Great service, fast preparation, and tasty food!
The food here is always fresh and hot whether you dine in or take out. Great for lunch and a light/healthy dinner. I love it, they surpassed my expectations honestly, I always go to Boudin down in San Francisco so it was pleasant to find one here in Sacramento that carries the name well.
A little continuity goes a long way. On a to go order, they provided the same amount of salad dressing for a half salad as for a full salad. Not sure why they are using such large to go salad bowls and only filling it less than halfway full. Seems wasteful and overpriced.
I really enjoy this sourdough. Nice and sour and outer nice and crispy. No need to go-to SF city for a good clam chowder on a bread bowl.
Best Tomato soup. This is like Panera bread store, but better. I am a soup lover. All of Boudin SF soups are made from scratch and they taste it.
I have sent emails and voicemails to multiple Boudin corporate representatives trying to get a refund for my mobile order that the employees at this location accidentally threw away. I have been dining at Boudin for many years and I sadly do not plan on returning. The foods is good, until you run into the simplest issue, and they treat you like dirt.
Cold night - Hot Clam Chowder bowl will hit the spot! Get a salad on the side and a cookie. ?

Ordered soup in a bread bowl, NO BREAD BOWLS, Turkey and cranberry tasted like left over turkey from Thanksgiving. YUCK!!! Two less customers. Never eat here again. May god protect those who do.????☠
One of my favorite spots to eat in Sacramento. My favoritest thing on the menu is the classic burger. Would have been five stars except they don't give out the pickle anymore.
