I asked for no ice and they said okay but end up making my drink with ice. Not a big deal at all but when I reminded them that I ordered a drink with no ice one of the workers said they don’t make it and just left.The drink was super sweet, even thought I ordered 50% sweet. It was almost impossible to taste the tea flavor, just sugar and milk.
this place is pretty cool. they have an Instagram wall for tourists, they have a few unique ingredients nobody else in town has, and they let you choose how sweet the drink is, which is nice, cause it prefer my drinks a little less sweet. i just ordered a 50% sweet taro with milk tea with chizu a few days ago. hella good. :) only downside is they dont take cash
Been here two time and both were a great experience. Tonight I just walked by and decided to ask if I could just take a picture on the swing and the young man said yeah. I’m 8 months pregnant and that flower wall was perfect for me because my babies name is going to be Flora. I was so happy he let me. Not only that but he asked if he could do it for me. He took several for me without even a request of how many to take. Great guy!!!
Best boba in Sactown and Bay Area. If you like boba their boba is just right, not too hard, not too soft.I’ve their premium grade matcha.
The housemade boba is really soft and good, when it's on point. Sometimes it hadn't been, which sucks.Or something about the drinks was just, not right feeling, and I'd have to put it down. I felt like it made me a little sick, or it was too sweet? (Coming from me, who likes to shove their straw straight into melted brown sugar usually.)Since it's pricier as well, it's not my #1 go to, but maybe I'll give it another chance sometime.
First Boba I ever had, and it set my expectations. Sad to say most other places haven't lived up to them. I go here every night. Amazing, great workers, a bit higher prices but worth it
Great little boba shop with good drinks but on the pricey end. Had the matcha latte and hazelnut Viet coffee. No sugar adjustment for Viet coffee drinks though. Solid boba and great little cups and decor are ig friendly.
We drove downtown and walked specifically to this place because they were open later (11pm) than other boba shops. We got there a few minutes after 10pm. The lights were low, but the front door was open. When we opened the door, a couple empoyees came out and said they were closed. My wife asked what their hours were, but they ignored us and walked back to the back, and they all had boba drinks. Soured our experience of going downtown to get out and do something different. Will not be returning.
Didn't actually get to try this place out... for an establishment to require masks above CDC guidelines and yet does not provide masks to their customers is a business wanting to fail. Had masks been provided, I would have gladly worn it, ordered, and establishment would have made money. I wonder if owners are ok with turning down business over this....
Great place! Just opened recently and it's such a gem. Love the mochi donuts! For folks complaining it's too sweet... you can literally reduce the sweetness by request.This place takes boba up another notch.
