Great food and drinks friendly delicious
This is the third time that I've gotten food from this place and every time it's been very good. The customer service has always been great. We recently got food from them for our son's graduation party. The food was ready on time and they even called a few days later to check up and see how he liked the food. That goes a long way for customer service in my book.As for the food, the brisket is smoky and cooked great. It has a nice red center and a somewhat crispy outside. The mac and cheese wasn't anything revolutionary but has jalapenos in it and was good. The beans are flavorful and have some meat in them. But the chicken was the most surprising because it wasn't just lazily slathered and some barbecue sauce. It was cooked perfectly and was not rubbery at all and had an awesome seasoning on it that made it really tasty.I have to say that the inside of the restaurant isn't anything you're going to snap pictures and write home about. But honestly, some of the best food I've had has not been in restaurants with awards on the walls and fancy bathrooms, but instead it's just a place where the people know how to cook that style of food. This place meets that criteria for me.If I was to have one request it would be that they have some spicier options for so e of the BBQ sauce but I think I am atypical in that sense. I like really spicy stuff. LolI'll wrap this up by saying that I grew up in the southeast and so I have pretty high standards for barbecue, but this place met those standards and I really appreciate them helping us have a great graduation party. I hope others look into their catering options like we did.
Went on a Friday evening. Had live music I think Dinora and her band. Awesome entertainment, loved all the music they were playing and the way they interacted with the crowd. It was outdoors and there was a nice breeze mixed with their heaters it was a perfect way to enjoy some good drinks and wings.The onion rings are bomb too. My on ordered a Philly cheese steak sandwich he loved. And the staff are polite , despite it being busy they were prompt.100% recommend ?
Attention disabled female senior citizens alone:I paid almost $27.00 for a rib dinner. Waited long time for it. They forgot the fries. Had to wait again for those AND they were cold (I had asked for hot fries). Got back to my truck and saw they had forgotten the barbque sauce too. Took bag back in and lady at counter stuck her nasty hands all in my bag all over food, rummaging through food even after I asked her THREE time to "please wash ur hands". Her response was my hands aren't dirty. She finally put a small sauce in bag . She had taken some of food out looking through it....when fries were out I just said keep them, took my bag , went to my truck drove home and my dog had a good meal, threw sides away. These folks don't understand basic hygiene!! Place looks clean but staff not.Response to owner:Obviously your disrespect, for disabled, senior, female citizens alone shows in your response. I hope u don't address your Mother or Grandmother Mother in the fashion you have addressed me.The owner's response missed the point..... again, I asked her, quite nicely, (Please wash your hands.) THREE times and she would not. Plus, I specifically requested if fries could be hot....of course they were cold. Whomever, packed that take-out forgot 2 (not one) of that meal's sides.Furthermore....I did not request a refund.
I ordered the Pulled Pork Salad. I appreciated how the meat was set off to the side so you can choose to eat it with the salad, or not - and the pulled pork was delightful. The salad was also good, the strawberries, apples, and spring mix all taste very fresh. At $15 It’s a bit steep for how much you get, but it’s undeniably quality food.The service was… okay. I’ll let this slide on the review because another employee was able to help me, but the person that rang up my order did not seem to have a very good idea of her restaurant’s portion sizes and didn’t ask which dressing I wanted (the menu states you have to choose) and I had to later remind her after forgetting myself. Not a huge deal which is why I’m still leaving 5 Stars.The atmosphere is also nice, both the indoor and outdoor seating areas are enjoyable. Overall a good experience and I will definitely continue eating here.
Husband had the brisket burger with fries and I had the 50/50 fries ? with pulled pork and some onion rings. We both had a mandarin soda. The place was steady busy while we ate. The food was great and we had leftovers. Honestly, the fries were enough for both of us to share. So good! Worth the price for sure!
Great very nice vibe for outdoor seating. Food is great. I ordered two kids chicken nuggets meals $7each. 50/50 pull pork fries and 50/50 chicken fries. So yummy and bomb. It wasn't too busy here. The workers are very nice. They were all wearing masks and hand hand sanitizer available at the register. It was clean inside and outside. I waited for my food maybe 13 mins. It was hot and good. The BBQ here is fire. ?
They have tasty burgers and their 50/50 fries with brisket or pulled pork are delicious. But my new favorite thing is their smoked portobello sandwich. It is one of the best vegetarian sandwiches I've ever had. Smokey, savory and hits just right. So so good!!!
Been driving by this place for a while. I love good smoked brisket. They have a great looking pit out front, so I thought I'd give them a go.Ordered a plated 1/2 pound of brisket and two brisket sandwiches.The brisket was under smoked and didn't have much flavor. It looked like it spent only a couple of hours on the smoke and then was "wrapped" or placed in a covered tray to finish. The result was more like steamed brisket than smoked....tender but lacked that real BBQ flavor. )-:This place should be putting out great brisket given the beautiful oak fired pit they have. Guessing they only need to find an experienced "pit master". Three stars for trying.
