Great neighborhood spot with SpecialtyDrinks, Great Pastries, Art, and More.Sandwiches are creative. Quiche could be better in my estimation.
Ordered some of their Bacon & Spinach Quiche, a Jefa’s Cookie and a Raspberry Toaster Strudel… I was not disappointed.Great atmosphere, friendly baristas and workers.
Great hole in the wall place! Coffee, breakfast sandwiches and pastries are on point!! 4 stars on service because some staff don't thank you for coming in...if I'm spending 9 bucks for a Croissant with an egg on it and driving across town for it (when gas is $6.70 a gallon) I think a 'thank you' is appropriate.Barrio sandwich is so good!!
Found this place one late morning while lost. It looked intriguing, and seemed fairly busy (a good sign I felt). Upon entering, I observed a good crowd of folks, all happily eating and drinking whatever. I was greeted promptly and courteously. I marveled at the display case of pastry. I saw "Almond Croissant" and figured that was a safe taste bet. Bagged and back out to the car and not until later, about an hour and a half, did I actually eat it. OMG! It was fabulous! Two weeks later, now knowing where I'm going and I purposely went here first before my appointment (and not lost this time) and purchased 2 Almond and 2 Cinnamon croissants. Brought home an hour away and had them over the course of 3 days. Excellent. Simply excellent. Can't wait for my next appointment in the neighborhood there to purchase more again!
I want to love this place. Why do they make it difficult? I've been there about a dozen times, all equally mediocre. A glimpse: the coffee isn't good (sometimes downright awful...even the pour-overs); the food is hit or miss but they are sickeningly overpriced for what you get; the most egregious offense is the bad customer service (some staff members are professional but mostly a rude lot who behave as if they are taking an order from some inanimate object or that you're troubling them with the most basic order). Perhaps they'll see this review and make some improvements. One can hope.
This is my go-to café. I've been coming here for a few months now and have yet to have a bad experience. I see people complaining about the pricing, but its no more than you would pay at a chain café like Starbucks (bleh). Besides I'm happy to pay a little extra to support a small, local business! And owned by a woman++Drinks are great, the food (especially the chorizo) is delicious, and the service is good. You should always show your servers some compassion and remember that everyone is having a human experience too ❤
Very nice people and envirnoment, lack of seating. Other wise the food was amazing as was the coffee. Nothing else to say except it was great.
I had been waiting for 25+ minutes because something wrong happened in the back so the cashier gave me free a baked good and a drink. Great customer service!
So many coffee choices. I am still searching for a favorite. Guava turnover was a delightful & interesting treat. Yum.
Tried to support a local business this morning. Just to find out that they don't serve breakfast until 8am. Not to mention they are very strick with this mask rule. However they don't have anything posted on their doors about enforcing it! Very disappointed maybe after February 15th I can give them another try.....
