Very busy place. Great food worth the wait.
awesome food. friendly ??
Best breakfast around! Can’t say enough about the food and staff at Bacon and Butter. Service here is always stellar!! ❤️❤️
Was in an unfamiliar area and this place caught my eye as a good place to try for brunch. It was late morning on a Sunday, so I knew there may be a wait. But wasnt expecting to hear a 90 min wait. We decided to order some mimosas while we waited. Just ordering those was a bit of an ordeal. There seemed to be quite a bit of confusion behind the counter between people picking up to-go orders and people wanting to place orders. That part wasn't great, but not horrible either. We got thru half our carafe of mimosas when our name was called, which ended up being a tad less than an hour. That was a relief, as we were hungry. Our server, Kristine, quickly attended to us soon after sitting and it wasn't long after that we had some glasses of water too. She did a fantastic job attending to us throughout our meal. Now the food. I ordered a Waffle with eggs (over easy) and sausage. Everything was cooked well. The Waffle was just ok though. Didn't taste much different than an Eggo Waffle. Which isn't horrible, but I expect a little more when eating out. It was topped with fruit which was a nice touch. My date ordered a bacon melt with Country potatoes, and that was pretty good. I wasn't a fan of the potatoes, they were cut into very large pieces. But that's a personal choice. In regards to price, I'd say it was fairly reasonable. So why only 3 stars? Considering the wait, the food wasn't worth that wait. It was decent, but not good enough for that kind of wait. I've had much better brunches elsewhere.
Delicious Breakfast Location! Ample parking, but then again we arrived 20 minutes before opening. Even then there was multiple people parked already, waiting for the doors to open. Promptly at 8:00 am on a Friday morning, the doors opened to accept its guests. We were seated fairly quickly despite a line forming outside. QR codes but also regular menus are available. Our party of two ordered coffee, chicken and waffles, and their infamous grilled cheese Benedict (side of potatoes). It only took roughly 10 minutes before our breakfast orders were delivered. Water and coffee were refilled multiple times and the servers always had a friendly smile on their faces even though it's super early in the morning and the restaurant busy.
I like a lot the space and the interior design. My girl did not like the coffee, we tried the chicken waffle. The waffle was a little bit dry and dense, the chicken good but nothing incredibly the crispy part was out of flavor, the maple syrup should be regular and organic always, it help the flavor to come out
This restaurant is pretty good brunch spot here in Sacramento ?? The flavors of their French toast dish was excellent (especially the candied nuts on top ?) and their coffee was spot on! I would definitely go here again but I would have to wait in those long brunch lines unfortunately to be served (1hr) :(
The chef takes pride in the dishes he serves. We had the grilled cheese Benedict and the chicken with waffles. Absolutely delicious ? We will definitely return to try the other dishes
My hubby and I navigated over to your establishment, today (TUESDAY, 3/29) and were met with a "we are NOT opened" vibe... :-( I specifically checked with Tripadvisor before we left, as I wanted to choose a place that was OPENED...!!! And I understand things are still wonky, as we exit COVID... Boooooooooooo!! Guess I chose the wrong social platform... SO DISAPPOINTED!!!! Off to Meet and Eat we went - delish!!!
Got there early..thankfully as the place filled up all the inside tables within five min!The coffee is great! Even comes with real cream in miniature milk bottles.I had the grilled cheese Benedict. Loved the spin on a grilled cheese to add the eggs Benedict. The potatoes were also really good.My wife had the bacon melt sandwich...she said it was so yummy. This is a great ace to eat, and I can see why it's so busy.Highly recommend.
