Clean place, fast service, large portions. Chicken is not as crispy as I would have expected. Also, if you're in for heat, the medium isn't going to cut it. Slaw is perfect, not sweet and not too peppery. Fries are decent, should've had them with the hot seasoning. In my opinion, not the best Nashville hot chicken sandwich in town, but definitely in the mix for second or third. I was NOT disappointed, just not blown away.
The #1 two sliders with fries pickles and slawIt's so good that you won't believe it. Perfect amount of spice which you can choose no spice or sign a waiver spice which I imagine it's going to hurt if you have to sign something. Juicy delicious chicken breast peices in these sandwiches, the sandwiches in the number 1 are the same size as chick filet a with the difference being the chicken from angry chicks is top notch, you can tell not fast food. $15 with some type of crispy fry in the picture. I inhaled ate this.
These sliders are huge! Tried the angry spice level and it was awesome. I love spicy food and this was a spicy chicken sandwich that was actually spicy. Definitely looking forward to going back
They (the cooks, people at the register…. Nobody) wears masks there in the midst of a statewide mask mandate. The food is fine… I feel like I could have made the same meal at home with some frozen chicken fingers, rice, and a tub of coleslaw
??LEGIT…we live in Nashville and eat authentic Nashville Hot Chicken regularly. The “Hot” sandwich here at Angry Chickz is on par with what we expect from real hot chicken. The tenders on the sliders are thick and juicy. The coleslaw is crisp and with the pickle the heat is tolerable. The fries are super crunchy outside with a tender interior. We were pleasantly surprised at the quality of the food.AND, the staff was awesome. They explained the heat levels and suggested additional customer Add-ons to make the flavors pop (add the honey, worth it ?).HOWEVER, there is no on-bone option here, all the chicken is strictly tenders. But, really, who cares ??♀️ when the food is this good???
The menu is simple like In-N-Out, except instead of burgers there's chicken. Fresh food made to order, fast and delicious.There was a line stretching out the door and it was still faster than most fast food places. From the time you order to the time your order is ready takes about 5 minutes. It doesn't matter how busy. The line of people took about 10 minutes but the order still took only five. When no one is in there it still takes 5 minutes, because everything is made to order.My only warning is sometimes the spices are inconsistent. Order hot and you get medium. Order mild and you get medium.
Eat here! The food is delicious. I recommend medium because the spice is not overwhelming. They also give you a ton a fries. Love it!
Perfect spot to get your fix of fried chicken. The sliders are way to go, you basically get two pretty good sized sandwiches and tons of delicious seasoned fries for a very reasonable price.Spicy is pretty intense and medium is hardly spicy at all, so choose wisely - there's a big jump there. I've heard the max spice level is just straight unpleasant.The macaroni and cheese is so insanely cheesy, it's amazing. The staff was friendly as well. Most people go for take out as there are just a couple of indoor tables. The food is prepared really quickly and they're open late! I'm a big fan!
Had the combo#1. One slider was hot and the other angry. I had to sign a wavier but it was worth it. I always have trouble getting the spice level I want at restaurants and they have beat every place that I go to. The angry spice level was so satisfying. I would recommend anyone who can't handle spice to just stay with mild or no spice because their hot is about as spicy as a ghost pepper level but I like the angry spice level because my spice tolerance is super high and it was just perfect for me. All in all the staffs are very nice and friendly, and the food portions is well worth it, the chicken is crispy and tender inside.
Reminds me of Howlin' Ray's, a classic in LA without the freakish lines. This place is solid. Great portions, great food, kind staff. I'll be back for sure.
