stinky tofu is a must!!! It’s crispy and yummy.
The stinky tofu is great for non-Taiwanese because it's not super stinky.Other meals are good, too.Service friendly.
Great tofu and sausage, portion could be improved.
As I don't visit this area frequently, I found Tofu King by accident. I quickly pulled up Google Maps to see the reivew and decided to give their famous stinky tofu a try (yes, I'm a huge fan of stinky tofu ?)The place doesn't offer dine in bu there are a few tables just outside the resturant. Since I just had lunch less than 30 min ago, I only ordered stinky tofu. The waitress very friendly and the order was ready around 10 min.Unfortunately, their famous stinky tofu is average at best. First, the tofu they are using is not soft tofu, but the harden tofu bean curd (豆乾). Second, the curst isn't crispy. Third, and the worst part, is that their stinky tofu is not stinky at all (can't taste nor smell it). For $8, it's just a semi-fried bean curd!Anyhow, maybe it was my bad luck or other items are better and I didn't get to try. I wouldn't recommed this place if you are here for their stinky tofu.
Authentic Taiwanese fermented tofu with an unique taste. The aroma is a bit challenging, similar to some aged cheese. They also offer a great variety of authentic Taiwanese cousins and drinks.
First of all, let me report this: the price for a plate of Stinky Tofu and a bowl of Sliced Pork Rice is already $18.50 from $15.33 from July, 2018.My daughter and I went to Tofu King, Irvine but we can't dine in because of the COVID. Then three days later, we decided to have one at the Rowland Heights branch. We still can't dine in, but fortunately, there are outdoor seats.I visited Rowland Heights one and Arcadia one several times before, both are good. The Stinky Tofu I got this time is the best. 4 deep-fried Stinky Tofu have been cut into 16 pics, they are so crunchy and crispy, the tofu has so many little holes can absorb enough sauce. The pickled cabbage is so sour gives me a striking feeling which I love. The Rowland Heights one is located inside a plaza, which is so Chinese. Full of Chinese restaurants and every speak so loudly and even a woman uses handsfree WeChat to tell her friend on another side: I am going to eat my Stinky Tofu now!The Sliced Pork Rice is also good, which is not made from ground pork but sliced tiny pork pieces. It's a very authentic Taiwanese way.
The Taiwanese stinky tofu with unique sauce is delicious, and the sour-flavored vegetables are also delicious. In addition, there are Taiwan-style braised pork rice and Taiwan-style meatball noodles, which are also delicious. During the epidemic, they all eat outdoors, and the store is not open. The overall sanitation environment is very ordinary, and the location is relatively remote.
Authentic Taiwanese food. Love coming here for the stinky tofu every time I'm in the area.
You remember that one scene in Ratatouille where the critic was sent back in time when he ate the plate of ratatouille? That's exactly how I felt when I ate their Lu Rou Fan.
Very nice foods, very professional Taiwanese street food
