The flavour is authentic, fairly close to traditional Hunan cuisine in China. Spicy level is flexible for your choice. Do some analysis on Hunan cuisine and then order the most classic ones.
This is a below average Chinese restaurant. I had an early dinner there yesterday. There was only one other customer. The service was still slow. The steamed oyster was over cooked. The steamed pork belly looked sloppy. The Chinese yam was average. The steamed rice was not fresh. The waitress was absent minded. I came to this restaurant several times in the past. I will not visit them again.
My love and I both love the food! We ordered middiem spicy, it was very exciting and hot ?, but also it is so so yummy!! And the service is good, too! I wish I know Red Chili earlier because it is real Chinese food that I have been looking for years in America!

Highly recommends the restaurant's sauteed fish fillet with Lao Yun pickled cabbage.
Caution, extremely spicy. Do try if you enjoy spicy food. Some of the chef's recommended items on their menu were truly delicious and authentic tasting.

Overpriced order came very cold appetizer differentFrom the menu sloppy looking soggy never order it again
Tastes good but you get what you ask for watch out for the pepper you order
The food was not too bad, just way too salty. It was plenty chili hot. I like hot food anyway. The service was mediocre. I should also say the kitchen staff talk a bit long to get the food out. Have worked in major restaurants in the kitchen. I feel they need better kitchen management. Oh well, the food was ok. The sautéed pig ears were also very salty with a lots of garlic. I like garlic but for some, it could be much. The sauce has flavor but could cut down on the soy sauce. We had the fish in a pot. The fish was fresh and quite spicy with lots of vegetables, lotus roots. Again, way too salty. The fish was fried and put into a pot with a broth and vegetables. The fish was fried just right and the meat was tender and a little crispy on the outside. The fish was not salty but I believed it was the broth. I may try it again in the future but will have tell them to go easy on the salt and soy sauce.
