If you are looking for some authentic hotpot around Rowland Heights then this is your place to go! I’m a hotpot fan and tend to try different places all the time but MaluBianBian is on my top list, they do such a great job! I go very often with my family and we love it!!!
Novel experience. Recommend to try once but wouldn't go back for the price. Can get the same hot pot elsewhere for a better price. Also, last call was 1 hr before closing, not to mention they turn off the AC 45 min before closing in an attempt to clear out the place? There's boiling pots still on..why would you do such a thing. I didn't really want the humid Guangzhou/Shenzhen environment as part of my meal. Service was good and friendly otherwise. Yes Plaza parking is horrendous as expected, park with care.
The two flavor mushroom soup pot was a killer, if you like us enjoy having frog then go for the spicy frog from their side dish menu, they have plenty of options in general so you will for sure find something for your taste, so give it a try, is definitely worth it!
When I get a craving for hotpot, this is the first place that comes to mind.Their soup bases are tasty, with a variety of meat and vegetable options. The service is always friendly and inviting.The only thing they need to worry about is upgrading their tables and chairs. I believe the heat from the hotpot cracked the table, making it appear unsafe and uneven when they placed the pot on the mini oven inside the table.
Me and my family love coming here for some good authentic style Hotpot. Ma Lu Bian Bian does a great job by delivering high quality ingredients that always taste fresh, the skewers are the best ones I’ve had in a long time, they have great selection of soup base depending on what you like, my favorite ones are the mushroom/spicy soup and the classic 2 flavor tomato soup, if you like spicy go for the special spicy pot, overall super worth to give this place a try.
It was my first time having hotpot, I was a little bit skeptical but my good friend Martin took me last week to this restaurant to give it a try and wow I was happily surprised, loved every single thing we had! the restaurant made the experience even better with the awesome service and being really helpful with their recommendations since it was my first time, I am going to be coming back for sure, it was a 10/10 for me!
taste was very authentic compared to other hotpot places I have had food from, they keep it simple but truthful to what a real hotpot should taste like, ingredients are fresh and tasty! I also want to highlight the service was really good and easy going.
I went for dinner last weekend with a couple of friends, I’ve tried hotpot from other restaurants but this one was game changer! Flavor was way better than anything I’ve tried before, as soon as we walked in we knew it was going to be good, the smell was mouthwatering, we ordered special spicy pot for the base, and a bunch of sides dishes, everything was delicious, overall we were really satisfied with our experience there.
This is a speciality hot pot with skewers; unlike the conventional hot pot that you have the sliced meat mostly, but instead you have diced meat on skewers. Two major differences between the skewer hot pot and conventional hot pot:1. The diced meat is more tender and juicer.2. The soup is condensed and very oily making the skewer hot pot cooking like half boiling and half frying.
