Its pretty good, the set also have many thingsU can tell they put effort to make it close the gyu katsu in JapanThey also have many other options as meat
The Gyukatsu Soba was a 9/10 in my opinion. Some of the best I've had, the meat tasted absolutely delicious, tender, and rare. The Mara Kobe Ramen on the other hand was a solid 4/10 some of the most underwhelming Ramen my gf and I have had. The flavor was very watery, the egg half wasn't very great and they only gave 2 pieces of meat that was pretty average, it didn't feel worth the price and my gf was very disappointed in it as was I. I gave her half of my food. If you go. The Gyukatsu Soba is the way to go. I've heard other people in reviews say that the higher prices items were also very underwhelming and not worth the price. I would go back for the Gyukatsu Soba and maybe to try the Stir-Kimchi Cream Men.
The restaurant is clean and the decor is nice. The food is a fusion of Japanese and Korean food. I had a sirloin black rice bowl, it comes with little sides and miso soup. The food was well prepared and their meat is always so good.
Gyukatsu was pretty good and was cooked on a fancy grill. Snowflake cheese beef cutlet was very tasty and tender, would recommend.
Very long wait times, waited 30~ mins to get our food. If you don’t wanna wait long don’t come here. Got curry chicken cutlet, pretty good and worth it, big portion and will fill definitely! ? good for young people!
Beef gyukatsu was amazing in flavor. (Just like Tonkatsu but replace Ton= Pork with Gyu = Beef)If it looks a little too rare for you they have a mini hot plate for you to cook it up to your desired rarity. Also grabbed the cream curry udon, but honestly a little lacking in terms of curry flavor though! Will come again!
Portion is just right! Depending what you order, they’ll have mini side dishes. We wanted to experience the cooking part! The beef cutlet had a great texture. Pretty good quality meat. The sauce was also good! The sauces complimented the meal well. The pork cutlet in the sauce with cheese was good on the first few bites. The sauce was pretty heavy for me. It’s the same flavor for every bite so I didn’t end up finishing that dish. Party of 6 or more will have a gratuity added automatically. We went around 3:20.. and it was empty but when 4 hit, people started coming in so if you’re going for dinner. I’d go in early.
First time experiencing Japanese bbq and it was a wonderful experience. I got the premium gyukatsu and the beef cutlet. The meat was very fresh and it was such a unique experience to be cooking in a small hot plate. It was a fun experience just talking to my partner while waiting for the food to cook.
Ordered the 25$ set meal. The experience of cooking your own meat on the burner is interesting. The two sauces are vastly different from one another, giving you different flavor profiles. The wasabi provided is not too pungent but had a good kick to it.
Cream Curry Udon was worth the try but I prefer the regular Curry Udon.
