Great dim sum restaurant but pricy than other dim sum places.
The food was good, just like any other dim sum restaurant. One star less is the service, when the contact need it to be less, can you just give us the amount of dipping sauce for the sake of calling you every time to the table. Like we don't want to make it more work, just give us the sauce bottle.
Visiting this restaurant since I was 11, I’m 23 now. And I will never come back to here. Here’s why:1. The food doesn't taste as good as it used to, in other words, it doesn't have flavor at all.2. The menu has changed and the choice of food has become less with a higher price.3. Poor attitude of the waiters.4. No precautions against the Covid.5. Wasting your time, making you drink two more pots of tea while you’re waiting for the check.By the way, this is my first time give a restaurant one star.
The food comes out as they finish cooking and they don't cook anything in any particular order. But! It was good food. Good food = 5 stars.
Loud crowds and pushy staff as many dim sum places are expected to be, but the service was surprisingly fast and we all had a good time.
Happy Harbor is an authentic Chinese, or specifically Cantonese, restaurant in Rowland Heights located right off of the 60. It is an enjoyable place for dim sum & family gatherings. The private rooms are nice & quiet. The atmosphere & service are top notch & most importantly, the food is delicious.
5 star for service. Some dishes were super good and some super plain such as shrimp in lobster sauce.
We had dim sum at HappyHarbor Restaurant. This is our first time back since the pandemic (February 2020).They remodeled the restaurant with pretty wall paintings and new carpet. However, there are less choices for dim sum. A few of our favorite dishes were removed from their new menu, including pan fried radish cakes?. BBQ pork buns are still delicious! Some of the dim sum dishes are not as good (dumpling skins are a bit tough), and everything cost a lot more…
Quality dim sum with a price to pay. Dim sum here is nicely done with details and presentations. Expect to pay about 20% more than you would have at New Capital Seafood.
Finally found a great dim sum spot. So much amazing food to choose from.
