The food is amazing, the service is spot on. Really wide variety of beers to choose from. Love this place.
We heard that there was a new University of Beer in Roseville and wanted to check it out. They have out door seating and as the original University of Beer on the other side of Roseville. We took our dog with us and she was served a nice meal for her. They have small out door area now and plan on expanding in the near future. Since the place is new it is a good time to visit the new University of Beer. They also have metal animals for the kids to sit on similar to those at the original University of Beer. I was not think and forgot to take my camera. Our meals were very good and will go there again.
Very impressed with the food and service, the fun vibe and tasty cocktails were just a bonus. Will definitely be back..
Went for happy hour after work! Great selection of happy hour drinks and bar snacks! Got the Tokyo Tea, super sweet, couldn’t taste the alcohol at all. The bartender was super nice and very accommodating! Will be back to try more items
Been to the Sac location, loved it and had no idea they added a Roseville one. Saw this while driving by and had to stop...don't regret it at all! 1. Space: huge open space, easily split between the bar area and the restaurant while still being open. Great decorations, and the bar area is covered in TVs playing ChiveTV which was fantastic. 2. Drinks: lots of good local beers on tap but also a huge bar with great mixed drinks. 3. Food: we only ordered the garlic fries to munch on but they were amazing! Plus all of their sauces are made in house! 10/10 would recommend.
My wife and I came here for the very first time and I must say management is wonderful the atmosphere is excellent the beer is outstanding and the food is top-notch! We ordered the potsticker and the beer battered fish and chips they were outstanding! For those of you who cannot tolerate spicy foods like me, the sauces are fairly mild a few of them are a little over-the-top for me so at least you will have a variety of sauces. For your fish and chips you should order the dill sauce which is a simple Ranch and dill sauce mixed and it is out of this world. I prefer it over the basic tartar sauce that comes with fish and chips.
Food was really good, we had the beef sliders and French fries. The beer was a little pricey but was good
Had a great time here. Tasty menu, quality balanced drinks, friendly fast service. Can’t ask for anything more.
The staff were very nice, and of course they have a wide selection of beers. The decorations are really something to see as well. Did not try the food yet but going back in a week to try it.
I am no stranger to "University of Beer" as I have been to their Rocklin location (on Lonetree Blvd) as well as their Midtown Sacramento location (16th St). This takes me to an all-new location in Roseville (that opened in November 2021) which is on the corner of Eureka Rd & Lead Hill Blvd. To those of you that remember, this is where Broderick Roadhouse once stood and prior to that, it was a Chili's for many years. I am hoping that this brand new location will be here to stay for awhile as I've always been a huge fan of their food and their tasty iced cold beers.I met up with a buddy of mine on the evening of Thursday 1/13/2022 at around 6:30pm. Since this is a standalone restaurant without any neighboring businesses nearby, parking was quite simple to find. The exterior all in itself is rather interesting as there are several dog statues perched up on beer barrels. Additionally, there is a large "UOB" sign that should attract some of the people driving by on Eureka Rd.The inside is also very inviting as this location allows about twice the amount of seating as the Rocklin location. You will also find a very large wall display of what resembles beer hops complete with the "UOB" initials as well as several booths, plenty of high chairs/seating, a cool vintage motorcycle, and signs directing you to some of Sacramento's own breweries. And of course for this place being a borderline sports bar, there are several TV's for viewing to watch your favorite sports team. All of this is executed very well as the interior designers really came up with some creative ideas. Now onto the food.. Since I've tried several of their popular food items at the other locations, I already had a general idea of what I wanted. I went with an order of their "Pulled Pork Sliders" (for $14.50). This consisted of 4 sliders total complete with beer-braised BBQ pulled pork, pickled red onions, garlic Aioli, and coleslaw on sweet rolls. I also went with a side of "Beer Battered Fries" (for $6.50). And to drink, I tried two different craft beers; the first was a pint of their "Džungle Pilsner" from the King Cong Brewing Company and the second was "Farmer's Light" from the Farmers Brewing Company. Our beers arrive in less than 3 minutes while our food comes just a few minutes later. One major pro of this place is the service as our waiter always checked up on us while refilling our waters. I was also quite impressed with my beer choices as they were crisp, cold, and delicious. The sliders also hit a home run for me as there was a ton of meat inside which paired up beautifully with the crisp coleslaw and warm sweet rolls. And just the overall vibe of this place really entices you to come back for a future visit.Overall, the "University of Beer" in Roseville received a well-deserved five-star rating as it is better than the other two locations I have been to. Service was top notch, location is ideal and spacious, and prices are reasonable. And as I mentioned their food is delicious; my recommendations are to try their "Thai Lettuce Cups", "Loaded Nachos", "Boneless Wings", and many of their signature burgers. And with an ever-changing beer menu, I am sure there will be something that you enjoy.
