The best Italian food around, hands down. And great atmosphere
Two of the dinners, chicken Marsala and chicken Picta were lacking in flavor and presentation. No capers on the picta and very little sauce on either of themâ¦.disappointed!
We have been to The Place on several occasions and have always enjoyed our evening. We did not have a good experience last night. The food was good as always, but it was a scorching hot outside and the restaurant DOES NOT have air conditioning! They have these stand alone units situated around the restaurant that blow out air slightly cooler than a fan. Our server was running around like crazy, he forgot our wine so we just had water with our meal-which was fine because I was ready to leave by the time the salad came. We ended up getting most of our dinner to go and left a hot sweaty mess. We will never go back on a hot day. It was a miserable experience and I feel terrible for the staff that has to work in those conditions.
My new favorite Italian restaurant. Food was fantastic. My husband had chicken risotto and I had chicken marsala and they were absolutely delicious. I'm sure the stuff is shorthanded like everybody else and boy did they work hard and did a fantastic job. The lemon drops were the best!
Anniversary
The Place is the best! If you havenât had lasagna here youâre are seriously missing out! Service is amazing, everyone is so friendly and nice. Iâve never had a bad or even an okay meal here, every single dish is amazing!
The food and service was outstanding. Great presentation and quality. The only negative I can say is the air temperature inside was a little uncomfortable as the cooling system is subpar.
The food and service were very, very good. First time there and it really was excellent. I know itâs hot outside, but if you could work on making the inside a bit cooler, it would be great. We were all pretty sweaty and wet when we left. I felt bad for the staff that had to endure no ac when it was 103 degrees outside.

My husband should have not been served the last piece of dried out lasagna. Two ordered it at the table but there was only one left at 7:00 P.M on a Saturday. Our waiter was mobbed, but he did as well as could be expected. Thank goodness we asked for a table where it might be quiet ( we have a friend who refuses to get a hearing aid) They had a person singing at the front of the house...I just don't think the restaurant is set up for it...way too noisy and I would not go back if I intended to enjoy the company of my dinner mates. And now I'm going to sound really finicky. I think restaurants should steam clean, I mean really clean a place every couple years. The tile in there is slick and the place smells a bit greasy and it's just nasty walking to the bathrooms, that being said the bathrooms are clean. Our table was horribly wobbly, it was fixed once but started to act up at the end of dinner. I do love the food, the lasagna has been good in the pasta and it was the first time I have had any issue with the food.
