Mel's Diner, American Graffiti baby!My mother took me to see the film when it originally opened. And it was with her company that we ate in this place.All the nostalgia you could ever want, plenty of photos of all the actors.Just a perfect environment to eat in if you're going to go for whatever they have on the menu.Want to give a shout out to the staff who work there all day, every day. I carry a mask in the event they've got a mask, we got to help keep them healthy so they can serve us!Seriously, thanks to the cooks and the staff, pleasant experience.
We came here with a group of 18 and they were still super nice. The food was delicious and the service was really quick!
Always good. Always fresh. I like that these diners are always consistent with the quality of dishes. I usually get the house-made corned beef hash, but today I went for loaded hash browns and a side of country sausage.
Good little place for breakfast. The 50s diner decor was awesome. Just wish the tabletop jukeboxes were working. Their corned beef hash was absolutely delicious. And the mimosas were good!
Breakfast is really good, but if you come at 1am, their food is still amazing!
We have dined at this Mel's restaurant for breakfast and lunch. In addition to this we have dined at many different locations. This location has by far consistantly had better service. It is possible this location is always busy and the servers are up to having crowds. The Chef's or cooking staff seemed organized. It is rare that a mistake is made at this location. If one is made they seem extremely sorry and will compensate you for the mistake. The other locations that we have been to are in areas not too desirable or seem to have inexperienced employees. It is definitely difficult to find great service. The government provided benefits of not having to work for a long period of time and not having the responsibility of paying to live in a domicile because of Covid-19. Who would want to be a person owning a property and renting it. You would be afraid the banks would repossess your property or other expenses that would be a disaster for you. These individuals are going to have to get used to a time schedule and pay all this money back. It is apparent that someone will have to pay taxes for the politicians and all the new government agencies that were created. 1
