We heard raving reviews about this place and came to feast. We were not disappointed! We arrived and were immediately sat down, everyone was really nice and on top of drinks and orders. After about 15 minutes our food starts arriving and if there's anything you should try, it is the Honey Spicy Chicken (I think thats what its called lol). So juicy and well cooked! The mushrooms and onions were yummy too! We ordered 3 kinds of sushi rolls and the presentation was great! I would suggest ordering sauces to dip the sushi into though because we love saucy rolls, but they weren't saucy imo.
I've ate at alot of sushi restaurants. But Tang's is by far the best sushi I ever had. I didn't know you could order custom rolls. I urge you to try this. It's the only way to order. The rolls pictured were custom works of art. This was my fourth trip to Tang's and I won't eat sushi anywhere else. So my hat's off to you Tang you are a true master of your craft.
Absolutely one of the best sushi restaurants we ever been too! Definitely worth the wait amd we will for sure be back!
All I hear is great things about this restaurant but that was not the experience I had today. First, they don't answer the phone for pickup orders, so I went in and ordered since I really wanted to try, I brought the unanswered phone to the attention of the guy that rung me up and he basically was like yeah that happens.... second after about 10 minutes of seeing what I thought to be my order ready on the counter I had to stop someone and ask them to grab my order before I was late back to work....lastly the avocado inside my rainbow roll was brown! I couldn't believe it.will not be returning here
A friend told me about this restaurant and he raved and raved about it. Finally, I took the time to stop by for lunch. Oh my! The sushi is so fresh and scrumptious! The rolls are to die for and a reasonably priced for what you get. Their absolute best one is the Lobster Roll. They have a lemon one that is great too, I also like the Blue Oaks. You will love this place. It's a regular treat for my family.
Best Sushi Ever! Anything you order here is going to be good. Excellent service even through the pandemic. Hot sake is a must and you can not go wrong with any of their house rolls. Highly recommend!!!
They have pretty good food, however, they hardly ever answer the phone to place pickup orders, it just rings & rings for hours, even when they're open. I wanted to order lunch from here 2 days in a row but no one would answer the phone, & I called several times. Also, the rolls are pretty good, but they tend to drown them in way too much sauce, so they could reduce the amount they put on the rolls so you can actually taste ALL of the ingredients in it instead of just tasting sauce.
Amazing food. Great atmosphere. Wonderful service. We eat here atleast once a week. Try out the Cherashi with the Sauce Pairings. Its amazing.
I was blown away by the quality and quantity. I will drive from elk grove any day of the week instead of going to my local Mikuni. Kru... forget about it. I had the large sashimi platter, the fish lovers roll, and tuna hand roll. My wife had the sesame chicken bento box because she doesn't care for raw fish and she loved it. The tempura was amazing. 5 stars all the way.
