Ordered take out and it took over 50 minutes to get our food, a group 5 people behind us got their meal before ours even after asking about it. When asked about it zero was done about it. Just here's your food our bad. ABYSMAL customer service. Oh, and the best part may be that the kids food was done right away so it was stone cold by the time the rest of the food came
Had both the regular cheese burger and the tri-tip burger. Both were extremely salty. Seems like the cook is heavy handed with the seasoning. Customer service was fine and the location was clean.
Food tasted good, but this was one of the worst take-out experiences I’ve ever had. Website estimated a 48 minute wait (which was wildly inaccurate, it seems based on the temperature of the food - cold - when I received it that it was ready far sooner).SmashBurger (corporate) needs to implement an order readiness system so people know when their order is actually ready so they don’t waste their time waiting far longer than they need to and also so their food isn’t cold by the time they receive it.They should also ensure the stores actually stock what is offered online (they didn’t stock bottled Coke Zero although it’s listed as an option to order online).The two stars are for the food tasting good but it won’t be enough to convince me to ever go here again.Note: I am in no way blaming the employees who work at the store, they all seemed to be working very hard, it is entirely due to SmashBurger not having up to date technology that caused the issues.
My experience was absolutely horrible. They were friendly but the service was extremely slow. No one in the building and took round 30 min to get food. They made the burgers and let them sit while they finally made fries. So the fries were scorching hot while the tater tots were cold and the burgers were luke warm. Oh, and they never removed half of the paper from the burger when they made my son's burger. They said, oh we will tell the cooks about it. Sorry. I will not be back.
We went in to the store to make an order. We waited over an hour for 3 burgers. I ordered a kids burger well done and a two classic smashburgers well done some fries and tots. All were very undercooked (a lot of pink) but one was burnt outside. I guess that means well done... had to heat them all when I got home. Our fries and tots were cold and soggy. I noticed that the girl packaging food had gloves on, great, but then went to take an order (touched the screen, opened fridges, and handled money), then put a burger together (touched food) and wrapped it up, same gloves.... not acceptable. The guy cooking the burgers touched raw meat, then put burger toppings (tomatoes pickels etc) with the same gloves on... these are health violations. As a person who has worked in the restaurant business before, I noticed many improvements that could be made for speed purposes and for health and safety purposes.For example. Change your gloves. Wash your hands in between. Put more than 9 burgers on the grill if you have 15 orders. Cover the burgers so they cook faster. No matter when you order, even if there are 20 orders, it shouldn't take an hour to cook a burger start to finish on the griddle. They have two large griddles, easily could have accommodated 20+ patties.
Went 2 Sundays ago around 6 pm and before we went to actually order the employee at the register stated that currently the wait for food was between 45 minutes to an hour!!! I was shocked to hear that, maybe I’m a little confused as to if Smashburger is really a quick service restaurant as the description states, but for that type of wait for food we walked out and did not order, with that type of wait I’m better off going to Red Robin. I understand that this a newer opening and maybe will try again in a few more months and see if anything has improved.
Bad service, burger looks like they prepared it in heal , was waiting 25 min for 2 meals
You WILL wait longer than you think it’ll take. When I showed up it wasn’t busy. No one in line and about 3 people waiting for orders and 4 people sitting already eating. There are 8 people working in kitchen and handing out orders. It took 40 minutes for 8 orders to go out. After waiting almost an hour I had to leave without my food. This is so disappointing. I wasted $20 and was late for work. The most disappointing part is that there were 2 people literally doing nothing but handing out orders. And during the hour I was there they handed out less than 8 orders… that’s 1 order each every 10 minutes . WOW. Wish my job was so easy
Had a gift card from Christmas. Never eaten there before. I ordered the original crispy chicken. Was not impressed. The chicken was dry and overcooked. Fries were cold; not very good. Maybe the hamburgers are better?
Awesome all around!!! I have never been to a smashburger before, the staff was very helpful in helping me pick out some options, turn around time was very fast for the quality, and the preparation was great. I had a BBQ burger, french fries and milkshake and everything was just right without being too sweet or too salty. Definitely recommend, and will be coming back soon!
