I went to rubios to get some tacos as the other locations had closed early and they were extremely stressed and did not give me a complete order. The rice was not even cooked all the way and it was extremely hard. There was no more rice beans cilantro or onion. Not only was there chaos but the cooks were screaming at eachother back and forth. There was absolutely no peace and the order was 30 dollars.
I’m not even making this up right now, I put in an online order and 23 minutes later I come to get it and it’s STILL not done. Whatever. I wait and wait and wait and nobody is doing anything? It’s slow? Next thing you know the whole restaurant is full… waiting for food. What are the employees doing? Well. A guy named Taylor walks in and goes to the register. Him and another girl start calling each other c*nts (yes. the whole word. uncensored. c u next tuesday!) over and over again, joking. Then Taylor proceeded to go in the back and make himself food. The girl he was just joking with at the register goes, “Are you really making yourself food right now? You just walked in.” He goes “Yeah and?” — I still haven’t received my food but I did get a great show. I felt like I was watching an episode of The Simple Life starring Paris Hilton and Nicole Richie. Entertaining to say the least, but never have phone service in this building so I was bored waiting in a Rubios for 20+ minutes watching two employees bicker, help themselves to food and blatantly disrespect each other in front of 10+ customers.
While I understand all that covid has subjected businesses to, I'm not thrilled about the new ratio of protein to condiments in the tacos - like 1/5, no joke! Beans were very watery. I'll wait awhile to go back :(
Haven't been here in a while and stopped by as I missed this place. Well, I now miss it less because the place is not what it used to be.No napkins and good luck finding someone to ask for some. Although the place was clean the food did not look appetizing.Being a Friday, I got the 2 fish taco platter (use to LOVE their fish tacos). Well, something must have changed b/c the tacos were not appetizing. Taste was just bland...
Food and service here is representative of a business that wants to close down.The mango mahi tacos had 1 tiny dried sliver of fish on each one.. and the shrimp burritos would be more appropriately named rice burritos.Worst of all, I had to listen to the young heavy cashier tell 2 of her coworkers cringe stories about how she tackled boys and made them eat dirt in elementary school.
This place downgraded a lot, food came out really cold because the cashier lady kept talking to customers as I watched my food sitting there for 5 minutes. Tortillas weren’t fresh and really hard. As long as they make sure every customer wears a mask. These people are ridiculous.
I use to love this place, and especially their chicken tacos! However, I decided to order a two taco plate for delivery last night, and was extremely disappointed because the chicken in my tacos were completely burnt! So much to the point that the tacos tasted horrible!Delivery or not, it’s not an excuse for poor food quality!
Made an online order on the app for a curbside pickup, but I had to go down to the store after waiting 20 minutes after the pickup time. I explained the situation and the worker at the counter told me that I had to call, which the app did not tell me and I told them that as well. Then they said that they knew nothing about the app and that they had just bagged my food recently even though the pickup time on the receipt had already passed by 20 minutes. It's alright that they had to explain, but they did not apologize or offer any compensation for the wait. The service left a lot to be desired and was terrible compared to other places I have been to recently, which is a shame because I really like the food here.
One of the only places in roseville kicking people out and won’t serve you without a mask on (while the entire seated restaurant sits there without masks). Don’t support places like this that enforce fascism. (Panda Express is another).
Jade was really helpful and we had an amazing time dine in this restaurant. Excellent customer service and clean environment. The fish tacos were great, I like the one with avo more than the original one. Highly recommended this location and will definitely come back again soon!
