Food is decent and fish tacos are our favorite. Be sure to come here on Tuesdays as they are running a few specials. $2 fish tacos and $8 Shrimp Taco Plate with three different shrimp tacos.Ordered ahead and food was a little late. Also was missing a taco and one taco was incorrect last visit. Be sure to check your order and not rely on curbside as much.
Needs new management. Place is filthy, food was cold, fish batter tacos were more like hush puppies with no fish, the salsa tasted like it was made with canned tomatoes, just overall it's not the same Rubios it use to be. This wasn't my first disappointing trip but it will probably be the last.
I havnt eaten the food yet ND I don't care if it tatse like heaven in my mouth I hate this place. Waiting 30 minutes for my food why does it look like a fast food place. I have things to do but sit here and wait and starve. I never give bad reviews often but if I wanted to wait this long for Mexican food chevys is next door and would have cost the same and been seated and haloy
Good food fast and clean. Has a outdoor area to eat and good parking.
an hour+ wait for a burrito that eventually never got made. Previous efforts haven't been much better
I have been here SEVERAL times, and every time it takes HOURS to get our food. This time, my husband placed the order at 5:30, the website said it would be ready at 6:15 and then at 7pm- closing time- they finally got the food done.They didn’t make the meal because a key ingredient was missing. Rather than calling, they filled everyone else’s order. When the employees finally realized that my husband had been waiting, they asked what he wanted as a substitute to the key ingredient. Then his order got put to the bottom of the queue. The didn’t fast track it. Common?!?! 1.5 hours for 2 burritos… that’s horrible.I have been to many of the Rubio chains and this one just happens to be the most convenient. I keep hoping they will get their act together… alas they do not.
Me and my husband love Rubio’s we have gone to many different locations and had great shrimp burritos.HOWEVER the Douglas location was ANYTHING BUT THAT. We waited OVER an HOUR for burritos! There were 7 people on staff in the kitchen with orders backed up other people had already been there that put in an order at 2:30 online and didn’t get there’s till almost 7pm like come on. Now as If waiting for an hour wasn’t bad enough our burritos sucked and had no sauce at all! I hope they work on their staff and do better.
We arrived at the height of lunch rush and unfortunately, the place was understaffed. We still had excellent food and very cheerful staff despite their stress. We love the food!

Mom has a lactose intolerance and specifically ordered no cheese, guess what? Cheese all over her dish.Dad ordered guacamole with his dish, guess what? He got sour cream.I ordered my bowl specifically with no corn due to a corn allergy and found corn all mixed in my bowl.Would NOT recommend, TERRIBLE quality control.
