They are my favorite Indian restaurant in the Sacramento area. I've been to India five times and cook chettinad cuisine at home, so I'm willing to argue my position. ? Great combination of presentation and flavor, making is worthwhile for a special occasion, but laid back atmosphere for just a general desire to go to a restaurant. My favorite is the mutton soup. For newbies, get a masala dosa. If they post they are doing a thali on the weekend, you might even meet me ? it is my single most favorite thing in this world.

It was not the Porottas I originally know. The food here was more commercialized and hence less tasty than my previous experience at the original porottas that served only vegetarian food. The porotta I got was a bit stale and most of the other food I got was standard fare and did not remind me of the original location’s food. Maybe this is a one off and they might still be good and it was just my food that was OK. But still this was my experience.However what also impressed me is the adoption of technology to improve service which includes their autonomous food delivery robot that delivers food to your table in a faster and more efficient manner.

Food is really fantastic, porotta is South Indian authentic biriyani is also taste well . Naan is fresh , very nice and clean ambiance . whenever visit Sacramento , will come here !

food was amazing and so was the service. very down to earth welcoming staff. the owner came to our table to check on us and was very welcoming and polite. we chatted for a bit. food business is a family legacy and he is exemplary in his hospitality. This is the best place for dossas!!
I enjoyed chicken tikka masala ?. Masala chai was good also. Overall enjoyable dining experience.
Come for lunch, was not disappointed. Ordered a dosa(my first) and it was amazing! We ordered two curries and some dessert and all were fantastic. Really look forward to coming back.
