I have not gone to eat there yet but I did call to confirm something and she hangs up right in my face after answering the question and I had thanked her with a warm thank you.That is simply ridiculous service and care for a potential guest. It is trending through my review expressions if they are not born in this country they have no respect for people of this country. SAD! Just fill their pockets and never speak to them. That is what the immigrants want. I have not been in a relationship with an American in 10 years so if you want to think I am racist, think again.
I meet a friend here for our occasional lunches out. The lunch buffet here is one of our favorite go to places. It is convenient for both of us to get there and the India lunch selections are hot and tasty. There are selections for omnivores and vegetarians. I try to sample a selection of items, but the butter chicken is one of our faves.
I went there today for 1st time to have lunch & the food is AWESOME! Their customer service is excellent too. The employees & owner actually greet customers & make you feel welcomed. They also had complimentary Indian tea & mango ice-cream which was a big plus. Just a heads-up, lunch buffet is $17.99 (not $10.99 as advertised on internet). I'll definitely come back here whenever I'm in Sacramento area.
For starters, I've never really had Indian food before. The only reason I visited was one, my boyfriend likes Indian food and two, this place had great ratings. But OMG has my mind changed about this cuisine type! The food we ordered was so freakin delicious and it was so much food! We ordered the chicken curry and chicken Tikka masala and it was incredible! Full of flavor and enough servings for dinner and lunch the next day! Plus they both came with rice! Very affordable price for all the food you get! Absolutely loved this place! And for a person who never ate Indian food before, I would definitely recommend this place!
Gave it a go after seeing the reviews. Did not live up to expectation. Very basic layout. Only offered the buffet which consisted of luke warm average dishes that looked like they had been sitting there for hours. Did not go up for a second helping even though was hungry because the food was so unappetizing. Will not be going back
Safe, and clean buffet. They do follow health and safety guidelines provided by the health department. They require you to wear a mask and gloves while dishing up at the buffet. Dont want to wear a mask? Why are you out in public? The buffet was piping hot, fresh, and screaming with flavor! Tandoori chicken was spot on! Nice crust on the outside, and juicy on the inside. The fish curry was also really good. Not too soggy, just perfectly soft. As aforementioned by someone else the Pakora was not all fluff. My only complaint is the samosas were a bit mushy inside. Other than that this place was absolutely delicious! If you're mad at them for asking you be to be clean, and safe then maybe you're really just mad at yourself!? ? Highly recommended!!!
We had to wait 20 minutes, but, it was worth it! We went for the Sunday buffet. Masks and gloves (provided) to serve yourself. Foos and service was great! You can't beat the price for all you can eat!
Stopped for dinner on our way back from Tahoe on a Wednesday evening. Hit the spot. Delicious yellow daal, shahi paneer, bhindi and garlic naan. I'd argue is one of the best Punjabi meals I've had in northern California. Also, some of of sweetest folks that own and operate the place. Can't wait to be back.
Decided to eat out at this place as it had impressive 4.5 stars overall review rating. Had Buffet lunch and I must say it has been over rated. Staff was nice and courteous. However, food does not live up to the expectations of 4.5 stars!
