When covid hit , i took my black light to hotel rooms, hallways, elevators - THIS place was immaculate! The decor is retro -like the furniture your cool aunt would have had on the cheap side (if there IS one) of Palm Springs in 1974.
Supper friendly staff! They had a unique situation where a major repair was needed for the hot water.They clearly communicated what would be happening and when.While I was not personally impacted from the situation, I heard from coworkers and staff, how the maintenance and repairs were completed sooner than anticipated and with far less impact to the guests, than anticipated.(Props to the contractors who fixed the aforementioned situation)A few other benefits I found:It was cleaner than most places I've stayed. (I spent 261 nights in hotels in 2021, if that means anything).Conveniently located in close proximity to a wide variety if shopping, dining and entertainment establishments, all this and only 30 minutes from the Sacramento Airport.The continental breakfast is well set up. Food was always, tasty, fresh and the serving area clean.Definitely wouldn't would Stat here again.My stay was 12 nights with this written on the 7th night of the stay, for context.
Very comfortable beds and courteous staff. The room was clean and well kept. The only downfall is the street noise. The property is right on the corner of a busy intersection so you hear every loud check me out I’m cool muffler!
My family of six spent overnight at this Holiday Inn. We were very comfortable. Our room included two full size beds and a double bunk bed. The facility is clean and the rooms are presentable. Even though this hotel rating is low, we found the accommodation excellent. Staff was nice. They responded to our request for additional towels and tooth brush. We asked for a late checkout too. We enjoyed their full breakfast complement especially the automatic pancake making machine. Flat sausage was a bit dry and cheese omelette tasted synthetic. Biscuits and gravy was nice. Juice, fruit, and package cereal rounded out their breakfast offering. We don't mind returning here.
If you travel a lot, the IHG travel rewards club is the way to go. I get free upgrades at all IHG properties, like this Holiday Inn Express. I got upgraded to a bigger room for the same price! The parking is easy and the staff is really friendly. My room was perfect, the WiFi worked just fine and the TV worked fine connected to my laptop. I got a ton of reward point on my stay. Breakfast is even included!
The good first: hotel and room are clean and would have been a satisfactory stay if it weren't for the credit card fraud that followed our stay. 1) Booking process, 1-star Our group 2-night stay was for a volleyball tournament at the Grounds at Roseville. Getting responses from the hotel manager to book for the group was very difficult. Customer service is lacking. 2) Handling of the credit card fraud, 1-star After we checked out of the hotel on Sunday, I got a CC charge text on my phone which I didn't pay attention to thinking it was my room's charge. Then again, I got another charge 2 days later on Tuesday morning. That's when I got suspicious. Called the hotel and talked to front desk and the manager. The whole ordeal took over two hours to handle. Long story short, turned out the hotel had checked in someone under our name, and used our credit card to pay for the room! We got over nearly $2K charged to our CC!! The police was called but the perpetrator fled the hotel before the police got to him. Hotel manager did a terrible job in handling the situation. First he said they may not be able to refund my fraudulent charges because SOMEONE DID STAY IN THE ROOM!? WTH. And I got no information out of him as to what happened and how could they have allowed someone to check in the room WITHOUT proper ID and credit card identification?? The only explanation I can come up with was this has to be an inside job by sketchy employee. I would never stay at this hotel again. And would advice you to be aware of potential fraud if you do stay and watch for your credit card charges!
I stayed at this hotel for 2 nights. When I checked out, I noticed two of my credit cards and cash were stolen from my purse. I quickly called the hotel and spoke to a manager. He sounded like he didn't want to hear my complaint and stated "He has never had an issue with reported stolen items/cards" which I find hard to believe considering how long this hotel has been opened. I would NOT recommend this place. I left my wallet not thinking someone would actually steal from it. Accidentally forgot it, lesson learned. Customer service was absolutely trash!
First, I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at this property. The location was perfect for my training and in great proximity to great restaurants. The staff was friendly and helpful. The breakfast was fantastic with fresh made cinnamon rolls, YUM!!! I did have an issue with leaving some clothing behind. I spoke with a Front Desk employee, Michaela, and she mentioned to the House Keeping staff about my missing clothes. I was told no one found anything when they cleaned. Obviously I was a little frustrated because I know exactly what I left and where I left them. But it is what it is right?!? I voiced my disappointment and let it be known. An hour later, Michaela called me back to informed me that she went another route in order to find my clothes and she was able to contact a staff member that had worked yesterday but not today. The clothes were on an unused cart. Mystery solved! Michaela deserves praise for her determination to assist me and get my clothes to me. I am so thankful for her and the staff of this property. Keep up the great work! I WILL stay here again and it is highly recommended you do the same!!
Changed from Rocklin to Roseville after reading the horrible reviews for “nasty “ management. Happy I did. Super nice to book with. Have stayed here before. Nice friendly staff and nice rooms. When I canceled Rocklin. As reviewers said. Rude. Holiday inn better get on that management. Not a good look. I’ll stay here going forward.
Stellar late night/early morning customer service from Sharon at the front desk. I came in very tired from a long road trip and she was just the friendly face I needed to see to end my journey. Room is clean and comfortable. 10/10 will stay here again. ?
