Went in yesterday food wasn't that tasty, sea food smelled like been there for days old stunk kind off bad, place needs to have better hygiene within customer and waitress even if wearing gloves, asked for water and we were 4 of us empty cups and it was like had to ask all 4 times evnthough cups empty on table, but asking for water same hands that touched trash cans touched my water cup(need better hygiene,no matter if using gloves)..so decided to just leave, seen person from other table complain about food bad smell ,lady secretly talking to them and came back and gave them credit for that, and didn't even bother to remove food away, like they say the show must go on and price must be the same before we close the door at 9pm right. ..reason writing all this my kids ended up with stomach pain and throwing up....place needs better hygiene, their price is like food is the greatest when all this is there happening.
Good service, decent food
We enjoyed the buffet. Price cost more then other local buffet but is has snow crabs and other seafood so is worth the money. They also have spin for birthday. The staff are friendly and welcoming.
I love this place one of my favorite buffets in the whole us that I've traveled
Went on a Tuesday night for dinner. Buffet was good had your usual shrimp, crab legs, craw fish, mussels, baby clams etc.. The service was good. The only thing I didn't agree with was a sign that said you were limited to 2hrs. I have bever seen this in any other buffet. The price was reasonable.
The shrimp were way over cooked couldn't even get the shell off of them the chicken had more batter than chicken the cook needs to keep the fire down a little he's over cooking things It only happened one time we have been there a dozen times afterwards and absolutely fine everything is great I guess that 1 night Was a bad night for him or her
They can be a bit pricey & food is a 8/10 depending in what you serve yourself. It's hard to get employees attention for napkins & drinks. My family and I had a good time overall
Golden Koi Buffet has the best food I have eaten at a Asian Seafood Buffet, and I have eaten at a lot! Everything was seasoned very well. Just delicious! Their salt and pepper crab was the best ever. Same with the salt and pepper calamari. Even the fried rice was moist and very well seasoned. I am usually not a fan of fried rice but it looked good so I got a spoonful. I was not disappointed. Even the steamed boiled crab was seasoned with more than just salt. They had cajun hot and spicy and crawdads and mildly spicy. Again, very delicious and good sized ones too. The Golden Koi is now my number 1 restaurant! Excellent and accommodating staff too. Highly recommend this restaurant.
I was looking for a new good buffet place to eat at on my birthday this year and I came across Golden Koi Buffet on Google and my daughter took me to this place and we both appreciated the vast selection of fresh fruit & meats fish dishes ,vegetarian selections ,.salad bar ,the ribs were very good. The service is great ,The food was fresh..The place was clean.the ambiance is casual. Our seating was great we were seated by a beautiful koi fish tank in the middle of the buffet area. The prices are reasonable. I already recommended this place to family members.I would recommend this place to any body.I went away full and happy I got try it out.BEST BUFFET I’ve had in a long time
Bar none, the worst food I have ever encountered at a buffet or, for that matter, a restaurant. The offerings ranged from mediocre to, in many cases, horrible. I could run through the 20+ offerings I tried but the broccoli beef, which resembled a slimy paste, brought on (no exaggeration) a gag reflex it was so horrid. The dessert table included a choice of a couple slightly different, days-old mini-muffin things and ice cream that was on the verge of being soupy. For God's sake, usually at buffets you can at least count on a large variety of dessert items. Bottom line: it doesn't get worst than this.
