Tacos were great, only issue was I waited for 15+ minutes and saw people who ordered after me getting their orders and I asked one of the cooks if they had my order. They spoke in Spanish and apparently the person who took my order had not turned it over to the cooks. Hopefully a one off.
I think they're called Birria shredded beef tacos. I may have the spelling wrong but it's rather new on the menu so if you just say it phonetically you may not sound as silly as I doWifey and I went on a Tuesday and on those days which I think they called taco Tuesdays you get them for two bucks a piece. After eating three of those and breaking my own rules, I ordered five more to take home. Takes a lot of good tasting food for me to do that.
I heard a lot of good things about this place, tried some tacos from their truck for an event, and then again quite a few years back when they had just opened in Roseville. The interior has a pretty cool vibe to it and the staff are friendly.Sadly, despite good intentions I am not a fan. I've seen this guy on the Food Network show "Chopped" and he is supposed to really do tacos! Maybe it differs per location but I am not going back after having dried out, not very flavorful, birria tacos that comes without the cup of consume for some reason if you order the combo (chips & salsa). It would have to be a REALLY amazing cup of consume to improve the birria that much.I also tried the special of the day, the "chicken flautas" and again the seasoning can be described as not so special. It was crunchy - so it had that going for it.It is possible that I keep ordering items that aren't their specialty, but for trying at least four different items (cochinita pibil, torta, chicken flautas, and birria tacos) on the last two visits — it's been a miss every single time.

Not impressed. The three taco combo consisted of tacos with what appeared as runny add water guacamole. It seemed like imitation or instant guacamole? The carne asada was greasy with at least a half of inch on the bottom of the container. The 14.00 dollar price didn't seem fair with only chips and a drink. I would of been happier with beans and rice.
We ordered delivery, one of our orders of tacos was completely missing. The taco we did get was delicious and keto which is a great option! The chips were store bought and a little stale, and the pico was watery. I would give it another try because of how good the one taco we got was but they need some help.
Cheese taco was phenomenal, always heard about this and veggie style did not disappoint. The elote hit the spot! The creamy guac not pictured has a lovely fresh lime bite and refreshingly goes with everything.
Chandos was awesome when they first opened up in Roseville, I just went there the other day and the quality of the food has gone down hill. I ordered 5 tacos and could only eat 2 and threw the rest in the trash. Hope you guys can bounce back.
Super greasy, super salty birria tacos that are overpriced and do not come with consommé (the broth you dip it in)? I’ve had better for a lot less money and a lot better quality. Tried some other stuff off the menu and it was just a regular, nothing special so I don’t know what all the rave is about.
