I'm still getting used to eating sushi and don't really like fish, so looking at the huge menu was daunting but luckily I had friends that ordered lots of food so we could try different things. I loved all of it and didn't feel hesitant/disgusted at all lol. The spider was really good and if you don't know what you want/ want to try different things, I highly suggest the bento box. I paid $25 for sesame chicken, 8 California rolls, and 6 pieces of fried gyoza and it came with rice, soup, and salad! I had to take it home and it was my lunch the next day too. I tried other things too but I don't know what they were, but everything was BUSSSIN.
About as good as sushi gets in the l Sacramento area. Lots of options. Crisp tempura. Fried onions are a miss as they're too greasy... like soaked. Some places make them light and crispy. Not a reason to drop one full star however.Attentive wait staff. Polite people all around. Priced on par with the area - not bad at all. Rolls are big enough to fill up on 2, but I could easily just have one and be content. Decor is okay. It's obvious they spent some money and effort making it look cool inside without being overly flashy. Nice area with great restaurants adjacent. Close to the freeway and a movie theater. Ample parking.
This place is absolute trash. When I asked for a waiter/waitress, they said she went home. They wrap the sushi with siran wrap, then cut it with the siran wrap cutter while yelling at each other over the food.We found traces of plastic in our food. Hostess was aggressive and dismissive, and was upset when we asked to bring our stroller to a table. She told us it would be a 40 minute wait because we had a baby even though the restaurant was empty. Rolls had no meat. Absolutely disgusting. Attached is a photo for your reference. Went with my wife and ordered the 90 dollar plate of assorted items and they skimped out everywhere they could. The 'chef special sushi' was straight rice and tuna and nothing elseI would have been happier ordering 4 separate rolls, got more food, get higher quality meals AND PAID LESS!And the icing on the cake was cold miso soupJust go to any other Blue Nami, or better yet another sushi place
I literally had to stand on my chair and wave to get someone to come over. Then they took my card and tried to say I didn't pay. Then said they didn't have my card. Worst service I've ever had here before. Keep in mind I bring groups of people here frequently and probably spend at least 2 to 4k a year here. Absolutely unprofessional and no customer service. I had to stand on my seat 2 separate times just to get someone to come over. My waitress was Hailey if anyone wants to know. Keep in mind that isn't all the issues that happened just the worst parts.
They have added some new 50% off rolls and they are delicious! Service is getting better. There was a wile where the employees were super rude. Much better now!
Blue Nami does not disappoint.... ever. The staff is friendly and easy to talk talk or joke around with. The food is great. I've only been to Roseville location which is worth the drive. Great place!!!
Very friendly staffs, great atmosphere, we went 30min before they close and they kind enough to let us dine in even though dine in was close and they were doing last call to order. Special shirashi donbri, sashimi was okay, tempura udon was simple but tasty, hoki poki salad was delicious.
This has always been one of our staples when we're in the area. They always have a good selection of food and it always tastes fresh. It is one of the few really good sushi spots in the area and there is a good reason why. It is decently priced for the area and definitely worth a visit if you've never been.
Felt like having Blue Nami for lunch, so, off we went. Awesome little restaurant! The food is very tasty and comes in large portions. We ordered The Firecracker, jalapeno stuffed with crabmeat, Sushi combo C and a Jack's Special roll...yum! I ordered a Mercedes roll that was a part of the combo...double yum! Of course all we had left were empty plates...sadly no room for coffee.
