They’re best at stocking really fresh fish, including the best type, Toro (the fatty belly). Grilled calamari is great too, but stay away from most of their “out of the kitchen” dishes.Ambiance isn’t great, music is too loud and pop, the cleanliness of the restaurant is 7/10, and their outdoor table is in the parking lot.But, their sashimi is really good quality!
We were very excited to try this place. We made a 5:30 reservation and were seated in their clean, cute dining room. Every table had hand sanitizer and they check your temperature before you get seated. The menu had lots of different options that looked interesting. They also offer some high end Sake options and Kendall Jackson wines.We were seated at a table with chairs on one side and a built in bench on the other. The built in bench was incredibly uncomfortable, mostly because the seat portion was so short, you had no choice but to sit straight upright.This restaurant gets no stars simply because 25 minutes after being seated, we still had not been greeted. Even worse, as the server passed by our table, she made eye contact with my husband and then quickly looked away as she kept walking to another table. No greeting, no "I'll be with you in a few minutes", nothing. Generally, when we dine out, we order appetizers and several drinks, so timely service is important for our enjoyment. We never got to try the food; we left and went to another restaurant.
We went here for some amazing sushi especially the double salmon roll. So tasty! The food was great. Definitely wanna come back. I tried a raw oyster and it was good. Good flavors for sure. The sashimi was good as well. Loved the salmon loin dipped in the soy sauce.
Ordered here on a whim. Wanted some sushi around 9:20pm on a Saturday, and everyone else in the area was closing too soon to order.Very happy with my rolls. The Lion King impressed me and the OMG roll was excellent.(Update: returned for a few different rolls. I highly suggest the Douglas roll. The BBQ Salmon was tender and delicious.)
Flavorful food, friendly and fast service, great value for the food when you order off of the happy hour menu, what more can you ask for?
We have visited BF Miyabi 3 times. The restaurant is fairly new, so we understand it takes time to establish good service. The food is good, but unfortunately the 3 times we patronized the restaurant the service has been below standard. During our last visit we ordered 2 rolls and a meal to-go. It took an hour and 15 minutes to get our meal. We did appreciate that the waitress provided a free appetizer, but prompt service is what this restaurant is woefully lacking. Good food is key for a restaurant, but without good/great service, they will lose repeat customers.
After my favorite sushi place shut down through covid, I had to find a new one. My friend recommended bf miyabi and it quickly became my favorite! The welcoming tables and friendly staff compliment the delicious sushi perfectly! I have so many favorite rolls and I've never had one that I didn't like.
