Damn covid, you made every dim sum place remove hot carts, which honestly is my favorite part of the experience since childhood.However, 888 never disappoints with still maintaining hot metal plates coming with all your traditional greats....but now it comes all at once since you need to order off picture menu. Service is still good and their are attentive and proper spacious room between tables. Brought plenty leftovers for home...so yummy so pace yourself as you order, you will get more.
We went there for a family lunch gathering. It was my first time visiting this restaurant. The food was great. A lot of choices in dish. Dim sum is pretty much same and have standard stable choices like shumai and shrimp dumplings. Unfortunately we didn't get the truffle shumai on the order, but it's cool. Flavor on all dishes serves were very good, because I did end up overeating anyway. **must not let my in-laws hear that. Don't need her go out of her way to buy me anything.**?.
Good fresh dim sum. The wait was under 15 minutes on this visit. I have been coming here for over 15 years. Parking can be a pain so try parking on the street.
Pretty good dishes but the chicken feet is not as tasty as before.
Good dim sum food. I miss the the ladies moving the carts around, I guess it's better for the covid, but it kills the vibe.
This was one of the last places to serve Dim Sum on carts ol'-skool style, and Damn YOU pandemic, you took that away from me!!! (ง •̀_•́)งAt least the food is still good, and they try their best not to price gouge you, but inflation is hitting everybody.
We had to rely on our guest to order our food, but we were pleasantly surprised. The food was delicious and the waiter was prompt and extremely attentive. We didn’t have a large party but I wish we would have had a lazy susan at our table to assist with sharing the plates. Great food, great service and great atmosphere.
A decent place. The waiters/waitresses were kind of monotone, but overall the place was very clean and the food was good. If you’re looking for a better than average dim sum place, here it is!
