Cantonese food spot with authentic tastes of home. Happy to find all the favorite dishes on my visit from NYC.
Another HK style cafe in Rosemead in San Gabriel valley. There are not that many entrees on their menu. However, what separates this restaurant from other hk style cafes is that the space between the tables makes the patrons feel that they can eat their foods without really have to move their chairs around to let other patrons to walk past them. The restaurant’s owners did prefer spacious dine-in over packed seatings so as to allow a more relaxing dine-experience.The food qualities are right up there with other hk style cafes in and around the city of Rosemead. The services are one of the more friendly as well.Their deep fried pig knuckles was really delicious and their baked pork chop spaghetti in tomato or white creamy sauce was made to an undisputably good flavor. The smooth-tasting and appropriately mixed milk tea (without boba) is my favorite beverage to drink before I will relish in my favorite dishes there.I recommend people going to this restaurant to enjoy the relatively relaxing dinning experience. This Delicious Food Corner has outdone, in this aspect of service, other hk style cafes that will make patrons who want to spend more time with their friends after finishing their foods feel a bit edgy because of time constraints unfairly imposed by the restaurants’ owners on the patrons.
I went there during lunch. It was busy, which is normal. I got a seat within 10 mins. Not bad. It take a bit long before they serve my food. The food is decent. I ordered chicken steak and my wife rib eye steak. I wish they gave me more of the garlic sauce.Overall the service is good. I just wish the service can be faster
I was born and raised in Hong Kong, but moved to California when I was 18. I’ve been here for a few years now, and this is one of the few places that make food that is authentic to the local cuisine of Hong Kong! The staff are attentive, kind, and can speak both Cantonese and English fluently! This is the place I find my comfort food now, and I highly recommend it!
I ate breakfast here two days in a row and loved it. If you want a true HK style breakfast, this is the place! Love the milk tea (tea base is very strong) and the all I can fill condensed milk. The pineapple bun with butter is very good and the stir fry noodle with porridge is awesome. Instant noodle with ham and egg is very tasty too.
The food was okay but the chicken in the congee was weird, because it was pulled and a stringy texture but authentic congee should have whole chunks of chicken. The noodle soups barely had soup in it as well. The cups they gave us were dark and the bowls and plates were all chipped. Finally, the bathrooms were so messy and dirty and the floor was STICKY
Delicious Food Corner is always A good place to go for Cantonese comfort foods. Love the minced pork rice, with peppers if you like spicy.
We went during breakfast to get the breakfast menu. Portions are large and generous. I got the shrimp rolls with the sweet soy sauce. Delicious! But they are always super busy, so a bit on the dry side. Don't expect fast service and it helps a lot if someone in your party speaks canto.Over all, a decent spot if you're not pressed for time!
Delicious breakfast with friends. Must stop if you want to try or like the Cantonese food.
A good hong kong style cafe with excellent food. Service can be improved though.
