Came here just after 6pm. There was a pretty decently long line ahead of me (6 people) considering there are only 3 people working- Cook, Packer and Cashier and food is made pretty fresh. They remodeled and it looks much better here than my last visit from around the time they first opened. While I was waiting in line, 7 Cops came out from the back ALL OF A SUDDEN!!! Did they all share The Men's Room together?? LolSo the Cashier Girl got very busy and so the packer guy took My Order.I went with a Beef Teriyaki Bowl, Spam Masubi & Large Coke. The Soda Machine was out of Ice but, I was fine without any Ice tonight for my Soda.It ain't B-Man's Teriyaki in San Gabriel but still, it's pretty good Teriyaki here!!!That young Cashier Girl looked over-worked and stressed because it was so busy. I was probably there about 25 minutes total.I didn't use the Restroom but, the place looked pretty clean for as busy as the Staff was.It sucks everyone had Masks and print signs for Masks we're up all over, considering they lifted the Mask Order after Garcetti, Newsom & London Breed got caught at a game with Magic Johnson WITHOUT Masks and Garcetti lied about "holding his breath" while taking pics with people ????.I wish we can go back to "Normal" again one day soon.Plenty of Parking Out Front.
delicious, simply delicious. hits the spot everytime.
It's always been good here. Fair price, descent food, and friendly staff. But I always have a complain:1. Are bowls suppose to be round... why do they put it in a box2. I am a fan of teriyaki sauce, but by default their sauce is a little bit stronger so I have to tell them to lighten it by 17%
Fries are not cooked, way too much sauce, and the man at counter is very rude. Clearly lacks customer service skills. Don't bother wasting your money on this dump
Truly horrific food. The staff was nice and we got our food fast but everything was horrible and tasted bad. The Katsu was clearly cooked in old oil, the macaroni tasted like plastic and was watery, the mash potatoes tasted bad. I think most of the food is probably frozen. The spam masubi was decent though using old rice.
Last year I had an unpleasant experience while I was waiting for my clothes to finish drying in the laundry mat. I haven't eaten here but the owner approached me because I was filming outside the strip mall last year. I was live streaming and chatting with my followers and wasn't filming his restaurant. He asked me not to film and I obliged. However I did take a peek to check out what type of food was sold there. After my brief conversation with him I was absolutely turned off to even try the food there. It was very unwelcoming to say the least.
The food is delicious but they keep hiring rude teenagers. They don’t even say thank you when you get your food and walk out or say hi. The cashier doesn’t seem to enjoy her job. I get it, fast food places aren’t fun but at least fake a smile. I’ll be back when they change the cashier. Delicious food though.
Love the staff and owner.. Foods great!! Always a local fav!!
Love Big E burgers! I started coming here when it first opened and now the business is booming and the food continues to be great and delicious. Love the Nash chicken sandwich ???
A good successor to Spike's Teriyaki from back in the day. Big E's Teriyaki is absolutely delicious. Their potato salad is my favorite side dish. All the chicken and beef is juicy and tender and well seasoned. The Teriyaki sauce is perfect. Oh. And you definitely have to try their awesome teriyaki fries.
