I am always on the search for a sushi place that has a great environment and amazing quality and this place genuinely surprised me. I wasn't expecting to find my new favorite place. The service was very efficient but they can be busy which is very telling! The food was fantastic, even the miso soup was some of the best I have had in a long time. The quality of the fish was great and the rolls were made very quickly. I am so impressed and I can't wait to come back and the unique rolls they have come up with!
Service was fast and very good. We got sushi and ramen and they were both very tasty. A good vibe as well, good lighting and nice seats.
Hands down the best ramen I've ever had. Me and my girlfriend drive from Napa just to eat here. Recommendations: spicy chasu ramen, beef ribs, takoyaki, jalapeño bombs, pork kakuni. You really can't go wrong with any of their food but those are our regular dishes. Wonderful people with wonderful food. 10/10!Edit: I did forget to mention that I've been coming here for about 5 years now and it's still amazing every time.
It's generally a nice place. Indoor/ outdoor seating was available, but sushi bar was not open yet. Friendly and enthusiastic staff. Our food took a little longer than expected but there was a large group when we were there.Chicken katsu: breast meat. Nicely fried. It was not dry but I thought it would've been better with dark meat.Spicy chicken lunch special: sauce was a little strange at first but it grows on you. Made with dark meat so the meat was tasty.Rainbow roll: pretty standard and good. No complaintsScallop roll: plenty of scallops. I thought it was good but wife thought it was a bit heavy on the mayo.Overall very happy with the food and service.
Salmon teriyaki was fantastic. I would recommend this place for anyone who enjoys a quiet atmosphere and great food
Very good quality fish, rolls aren't just full of rice like a lot of sushi places. Prices were reasonable, and wait staff was cheerful and friendly. I will definitely return!
I want to start this review by first saying that I've been to a lot of Japanese restaurants in Northern California but this one tops them all. I didn't know about this restaurant for the longest time as its tucked away in a plaza in the back corner. If you originally judged this place by the outdoor decor or the flickering sign, please don't! Once you step inside, you feel like you are transported directly into a small Japanese restaurant. Its small and cozy with the chefs making fresh rolls right infront of you in the kitchen area. The atmosphere with the lighting, the presentation of the food, and most importantly the taste of the sushi is to die for. I had the sushiko roll since it was my first time and it was the most unbelievable sushi I have ever tasted in my entire life. The tuna melts in your mouth like butter. The complimentary Miso Soup, the large portions, and the fresh taste of the sushi.... OMG..I also tried the warm baked rolls and they were insane! Sooo good.No wonder this place is always packed with people. The amount of sushi you get and the quality of the dishes feel like I'm in a Michelin star restaurant. I've tried other Japanese restaurants like HANA in Rohnert Park but I got to give the win to this place. Nothing beats the taste of this sushi. I was smiling ear to ear leaving the place. The staff is so kind and genuine too!
This is an older shopping center location and the age of the restaurant is starting to show. Having said that, the food was tasty and with imaginative presentation. Several of the appetizers were unique in our experience and really quite enjoyable. Pricing was competitive and we would probably go again if in the area.
Reasonably priced and good sized portions. One of the best places for Japanese food in Rohnert Park. I always get their lunch bento boxes and lunch is the best time to go.
Great food , great staff. Chill vibe.
