Pizza was good, Pulled pork sandwich was good and BLT was good!
Loved everything about it, other than the chicken pesto pizza (with feta cheese) was dry and the chicken was all dark.meat. I only ate part if it. I should have spoken up, though. However, I was being treated to lunch and didn't want to make a fuss
Got the fathers day special. ribs, or you could call beef jerky. sad. fish tacos had no salsa. Go somewhere else. Wheres the fing manager. Took 10 minutes to get a beer. band was great on the patio. norcal brew was great. But thats about it. How do you stay in business?
We ordered at the bar and the bartender was great-informative and helpful. When we received our food we asked about napkins and forks and as they walked away they said oh yeah, itâs over there and never came back. We ordered a bbq pizza and there was hardly any meat on the pizza. The pasta was bland. The best food was the fries. Very disappointed!
Good service, disappointing expensive food. The servers hustle, literally running to help customers. But the food is regrettable. Our $18 fungi pizza was like frozen cheese pizza with no visible mushrooms. The chips and salsa were also terrible. Stale chips tasted like they came from a grocery store in a bag opened yesterday. The ambience also featured "trivia night" with some woman in the corner blasting loud music over the NBA Finals game we came here to watch. Overall, the service can't compensate for the awful food and bad atmosphere.
We stopped here during a road trip and were pleasantly surprised. The beer was of course great, but they also had happy hour specials for cocktails and apps, there were some great vegetarian options like the black bean burger, and trivia was happening that night (our team won!). The service is very cool- you order at the bar and put your buzzer on a sensor when you need anything brought to your table. The space itself was large and clean, great for groups.
Ordered a pizza and a pint. Which stated in the paper menu and the scannable menu that you get a free pint with any pizza purchase. After eating a drinking noticed the charge was more than anticipated. When I brought this up the staff they said that was only on Wednesdays. They said there was nothing they could do about it. Besides that Atmosphere was great, food was just ok and beer was solid.
Bear Republic is an excellent place to stop for lunch.The outdoor seating is well spaced out and spans a very large area. Most all of the exterior seats have good views of the small lake surrounding it.The food is always served fast and the service is equally quick. There is a nice selection of beers on tap to choose from.You now have to order your meal in the main building and pay before being seated. I preferred the way it was before, which is the more traditional method of ordering from the table after having had time to relax and look over the menu.
Lovely view. Decent pizza. Good beer. Cute dog.Also, good service. A fan of the electronic puck system that lets you select if you need someone at your table.
Far less on the drink selection department than there used to be. All of the fun things there were outside are also gone. Probably because of covid but it's makes it less fun. We used to spend an afternoon on the weekends outside ordering drinks and snacks and now we barely stay an hour IF we go. Sad
