I absolutely love eating at Amy's Drive Thru! My single burger (pictured) with it's soft buns and grilled onions was amazing. In the box on the left was chilli cheese fries. The box on the right contained the broccoli cheddar mac. Next time, I'm going to be trying chilli in the mac ?
Food was great, staff were attentive, place was clean. Prices were high, but totally reasonable for the quality of the ingredients. Was a great stop for our road trip.But giving one star because a sign posted at the register described unions as a "challenge" to the business.If Amy's views empowered workers as a challenge they need to overcome then I'm not sure they walk the walk they say they do.Let the workers who want to unionize do so, and voluntarily recognize them, even if they aren't 50% of the workforce.
The food is amazing, its so nice to have so many amazing choices for vegans. The staff is wonderful too, we made a mistake when we ordered and they were so nice to get a replacement for a severe allergy. So thankful for the help and consideration from staff for people and their diet restrictions.
Love this place! Where else can I get a GF burger that hits all the right nostalgia notes of childhood drive-thrus?! Amy’s veggie burgers are the tastiest and I’m not vegetarian. The staff have always been super friendly. Please consider opening a location in SF or Oakland! I only get to visit when I head north.
TLDR: a good burger delivered fast and hot.I don't live in NoCal but found this local business searching Google Maps. Burgers are my thing (see my published list and reviews), so I have plenty to say.First, this seems to be a regional chain that specializes in "sustainability," vegan, and locally sourced ingredients. I won't get into the workplace controversy (just google) here. But I will consider it for future visits.The food is made to order so be patient, the results are worth it. I ordered the burger with extra pickles.Overall, it was very satisfying and tasted like meat (and I love meat), but what threw me off were the sweet pickles. I prefer dill in a burger. It wasn't bad per se, but sweet wasn't what I wanted. The secret sauce was plenty sweet enough to me.Excellent presentation—the burger comes in a perfectly sized bag that holds it vertically and open.
There's something for everyone and you don't feel bad about eating any of it. Nowhere else can you get a salad this fresh and filling. It's a complete meal. And you can get it from the comfort of your car. They don't just have salads though. They have the absolute best chili cheese fries I have ever had. They are craveworthy all day everyday. Their range of menu items from satisfying personal pizzas, delicious burritos, and more, makes it easy to take the whole family!
Good organic standard fare, exactly what I expected it to be. Good selection of foods and drinks, smoothies and shakes, non dairy, vegan and gluten free options.
Impressed by the vegetarian fast food concept and beautiful branding. The Amy was delicious and one can easily turn vegetarian if there are more Amy's around. Please open more restaurants!
The employee in the parking lot taking orders that helped me today at 1:00 was so sweet! Didn’t catch his name, but he gave great service :)As always, food was amazing. I love this unique health food drive-thru. I make sure I come here when I’m in town! If you are on the 101 you must come check this place out!
