Our 1st and last time at Roseville's Chef's Table. Got there at opening and watched staff scurry about still not ready for customers. Drinks came quickly after ordering. Food served within a reasonable time. Quantity of food served was disappointing. SOUTHERN FRIED MARY'S CHICKEN $26. This dish was a dollop of mash potatoes, 4 carrot slices and one piece of chicken. Tasty, but left you hungry. SMOKED PRIME RIB FRENCH DIP SANDWICH $22. Just the sandwich no fries, rings etc. just sandwich and it was skimpy on the prime rib. In all we had the two small meals, 3 drinks, add a tip & tax and we left hungry after paying $110. Not the best bang for the buck.
A MUST TRY!!!! I have to introduce all of my family and friends to this place. It quickly became a favorite place for my husband and I. High end food and drinks with the homey, "Cheers" vibe. The environment is so welcoming, the staff is friendly and attentive, great beer selection and quality wine/cocktails...and of course, the food is so incredibly delicious!! This place is so good, I don't even have the words to describe it. I'm happy this place exists.
We sat at the bar where the chefs cook in front of you, and that was extremely fun and really adds to the experience. You can taste the quality and passion that goes into each plate. The combinations are expertly curated. The service is exceptional. I'm beyond in love with this restaurant. Fine dining in an approachable laid back setting. Thank you owners and chefs!!!
First time visitor. Serice, incredible. Everything we ordered was really good. The desert........picture posted......WOW!
We really enjoyed the innovative menu with seasonal dishes. Service was attentive to a point but then it got busy so no refills on our iced tea. However, it was obvious our waiter was covering the whole room on our side of the restaurant and did an amazing job considering he was doing the work of two people. We eat out a lot and know that restaurants are really having a hard time with staffing these days so we try to be understanding about service issues. The food was wonderful! Chili Verde tacos were generously full of perfectly seasoned meat and cabbage slaw. My husband had the short ribs stroganoff and loved it. We each had leftovers to take home and enjoy later. This will definitely become one of our regular spots for a meal.
Wonderful suggestions from the server for both cocktails and food. I had the Thai Curry Shrimp. It was flavorful with just a hint of spicy and the curry was not overpowering. Everyone's dish at our table looked delicious. They make their own hummus and it was amazing. It is a bit pricey for cocktails. Every table in the restaurant was filled. Very friendly, helpful people that work there.
You have to try this place! I cant believe anyone gives them less than 5 stars. The staff is always so friendly and attentive. Everything on the menu is amazing, I have always had an incredible meal here. And no, everything does not look the same.The local craft beer list is long and all the drinks from the bar are so good! Try the "Spicy Red Head!"To top it all off, Franklin and the crew went above and beyond to make my wife's birthday dinner unforgettable. Thank you Chefs Table!
Always have a great time here and the food is amazing. Looking forward to their seasonal menu changes and the craft cocktails. It's easy to support local when the food is this delicious.
I was there one of their time many years ago and it has changed and grown exponentially. Be the food was prepared well. As I remember the way it used to be the menu rotated like daily or weekly admit it seems now they have a standard menu all the time. The drink menu is a dental and I have no complaints if it was wonderful and way more enjoyable than a chain
Excellent service and delicious food. My husband and I went out on date night for the first time in a long time, so this experience was so greatly appreciated. The staff was incredibly attentive and friendly. Our food was amazing. Great atmosphere . It was a lively busy Friday night but they made sure that we were taken care of. Highly recommend.
