Very yummy, beautifully prepared and presented food, and wonderful, friendly and attentive staff! Would recommend and eat here again!From top to bottom, we have Daniel's Roll, Gilroy Garlic Roll, and then 2 chef specials/creations. All 4 were delicious!!

Great place to get some good sushi. If you want nigiri go on the weekends they have more in stock and to select from. Otherwise rolls are great too. Always love coming back to Sushi Kakogan.
Food Ordered: Rocklin Roll, Cali 2 Roll, chef's choice nagiri, deep fried and pan cooked gyoza, and tempura cheesecake. It was a little pricey at first glance but was a great trade for the quality. Wife said the food was blissful, I thought it was phenomenal. Will definitely be going back.
Great time and Ashley the server will do a backflip anytime you give her a $100 tip. Amazing food also
My husband & love sushi! So we’ve eaten A LOT of sushi at many restaurants in Nor Cal. Sadly, the sushi at this restaurant didn’t taste very fresh. The produce didn’t taste fresh. The spicy salmon? Not that spicy. The flavor was off on everything. As you’re eating it, if you’ve had fresh sushi, you can tell the difference. The staff was friendly. Nice people. But the food was disappointing. Will not be going back. Not worth the $50 I spent. I’ve spent as much at other places and got much better food! Would not recommend. Don’t come here. If you like flavorful fresh sushi, go elsewhere. If you’ve given this restaurant a high rating? You’ve never had good sush, if you think this is good sushi.
