The food is meh - not gross, not fantastic. A few years ago, my hubs and I came here, were seated and given water, the only customers in the room. Twenty minutes later, we were still waiting for somebody to come back. We left. This time I was attending a family celebration, seated in the main room on a busy Thursday afternoon. The service was just awful. Again, we got water, and then nothing. We eventually ordered 2 family salad, 2 orders of garlic bread, and 2 kid orders of spaghetti. 10 minutes later, we got appetizer plates, followed by the bread. 5 minutes later, we got the salads. No plates, no flatware, no napkins. Our server could not be found. Members of our party wandered the place until they found people who could help. 20 minutes after getting our service ware, or server walked by. I was able to stop him and inquire about the kids' spaghetti. By this time the toddler was screaming and nobody was having any fun. With so many other restaurant choices in this area, I won't be returning to this place.
We had a belated Mother's Day dinner at Skipolini's. All 3 of us enjoyed our meal and drinks thoroughly. I had the New York steak and penne pasta with Alfredo, the others had a panini and calzone. They were all delicious!! This is the place to go for sure. We'll be back soon.
The food and service were both good in my experience. I went with a work group and we shared pizzas, appetizers, and salads. The pizza was really good, with just about perfectly chewy yet crispy crust and the right amount of toppings. The wings were lackluster and the salads were decent. Our server was very energetic and friendly. I would definitely come back and would not even mind having to pay ?. While not the most jaw dropping experience, I wouldn't have qualms recommending Skipolinis to anyone who's in the area
We sat on the patio and had Adina as our waitress. She was very attentive, and made sure all my kiddos had their refills and that their food was good. She kept checking on us during our stay. We were very happy with the food and service. They were very clean.
My husband and I had a fun lunch date out with the kids. We ordered food and drinks while the kids enjoyed themselves at the little outdoor playground. Great italian food selection. The staff was very welcoming and friendly.
Prego Pizza - We checked out Skipolinis primarily to try their famous Prego Pizza - i was at 37+ weeks and willing to try about anything. Our pie came loaded up with Italian sausage, mushroom, bell pepper, pepperoni, salami and onions! It was delicious, especially the pizza crust - crispy on the outside and soft and buttery middle. Hubby, who never eats the crust, devoured every bite! It was definitely a knife and fork meal for me, as the topping kept falling off. Still yummy! $19.95 for a small, which has 6 slices.Caprese salad - This was a large tomato, basil and buffalo mozzarella salad. It was just ok. The yellow tomatoes were not ripe enough (ie hard) and cut too thick. The red tomatoes were too soft. And not enough balsamic vinaigrette. $12.99.Buffalo wings - cooked well, and very saucy. 8 Large sized wings, and comes with carrot, celery and delicious ranch sauce. I would get this again.Overall, a nice lunch or dinner spot. Service is nice, and full bar. Unfortunately the pizza didn’t induce labor for me, but I’d still return for some yummy pizza and wings!!
Great food. The staff was very friendly and helpful. All six of us ordered different pizzas, and they were all delicious. I’ve had the pasta before, and that was wonderful. The kids love to make their own pizza and enjoy the play structure outside.
Very accommodating, great service and food! I came with a large group of women and we had the back room to ourselves. Our servers were wonderful and even helped us take some group photos with their new iPhone. Everyone loved their food and I did as well. I look forward to coming back again. This was my first time after all of these years!
First time to eat here with my wife. Went here for lunch. We were greeted with a smile and were showed to our table right away. The place has a nice rustic Italian interior feel to it -- murals and big wooden tables caught my eyes. We were attended to by a nice server named Natasha (Tash). She was very cordial and she recommended the lunch special to us -- a big slice of pizza, salad, slices of garlic bread, and a chocolate chip cookie. A complete lunch! We proceeded to order one of that and the Cajun Chicken pasta. We were nicely pleased with the flavors of the dishes were ordered and will take our kids next time. We will also recommend this place to friends! We had a good dining experience here. The lunch special is a good deal! We'll try the seafood and the gelato next time, too. Great job, Natasha!
Excellent, the chicken picatta was one of the best I've had. They are very nice sized plates and they don't skimp on the sauces! Id recommend Skipolinis
