I'm going to assume the red shirt means management since there was only one woman wearing that color. Charlene is her name. Very rude. I order here at least 4 days out of every week since I work directly across the street. I also have the drink pass and am considering canceling since this is NOT the 1st time they were rude. I only wanted cream cheese for bagel after waiting patiently for 7 people in front of me. Then sje decided to send me all the way to the front for the cream cheese after ordering amd waiting at pick up window. The cashier still end up giving me cream cheese. Maybe it was too much work for Charlene. ( all while on my 15 min break)
Always a bad experienceWe come to this Panera at least once a month if not more, which I know Sounds crazy since I’m complaining and giving a one star review, unfortunately it’s the closest one to where we live. With that being said I have Never had a good experience here every time we come here they are out of what we want, get our order wrong, and take forever. I wish I had another Panera to go to at this point
I checked T/A reviews before going to this Panera’s, a newer one, open in 2016. They got slammed a bit in some T/A reviews, I noted. Yelp was even more negative. Some reviews were so negative I wondered how they stayed in business. But I would give them a look-see. I went at breakfast time with an old friend. I have enjoyed their steel-cut oatmeal at other locations, but I decided to try something different, the freshly baked Spinach & bacon souffle. Made with cheddar cheese & a hint of garlic, it suited my tastebuds. It was served in a throw-away bowl. My friend ordered the same souffle and raved about it. Place was uncrowded at 8:30. Service was efficient. Server had positive attitude. Everything was positive including a spotless men’s room—with two toilets, one dedicated to handicapped. Popular drive-up service is available. I am on their coffee sipping program. For $9 a month, I get unlimited self-serve coffee, good at most locations. They serve excellent brew. Panera offers a wide array of pastries and baked goodsI know their scones and bear claws are delicious. These, along with Panera's artisan breads, are baked in house before dawn. In the past 35 years, Panera has grown from a small cookie store into an enterprise with more than 2,000 bakery-cafes. Most are company owned and operated. I recommend this Rocklin location.
I ordered Tomato soup with Greek salad but instead they delivered me bacon+some meat sandwich and grilled chicken salad. Funny that someone check the box on the delivery receipt as Tomato soup and Greek salad.
Overall, this Panera has the tasty food you'd expect, it generally has only average quality service, but the main issue is that it gets super busy at certain times and therefor can have some pretty long waiting times. The food is always good, although a bit expensive for what you get, but that's Panera for you regardless of location. The service here is usually only average, sometimes it's better, sometimes it's worse. I think a lot of it might be that they hire young people who maybe this is their first job and they haven't got the hang of customer service, which is fine, and ultimately I've never had a really bad customer service experience at this location. The biggest issue with this location is they can take orders from the front counter, the kiosks, the drive through and presumably online, which means that when they are busy the kitchen must just be overrun with orders. Even with a full staff it must be nearly impossible to deliver the orders in a reasonable amount of time. This is really much more a failure of Panera as a company to fail to realize/care that they are overrunning their employees so much, especially at rush times.Ultimately, I have been going to this Panera for years, as it's one of the easiest places around to grab lunch, and it's almost always good, with a few mediocre experiences mixed in.
Everything is tasty and this is a clean very well run shop
The only reason I visit this Panera is because it’s convenient and now the only breakfast spot in this area. The orders are frequently wrong. The food prep often subpar. (Undercooked or broken eggs on breakfast sandwiches, overly salted soup, stale or over-baked baguettes).. every take-out salad or soup I’ve ordered came with a small END piece of a baguette (even if you pay an extra dollar for another piece). Mugs are “not available” because they “don’t have any washed yet”. Owner(s) are slow to mask up their staff, no hand sanitizer available. By comparison, the Panera’s on Douglas and Pleasant Grove are far superior in every way.
If I could give this Panera Bread location zero stars I would. Waited in the drive through line for approximately 30 minutes, waited at the window for at least 10 minutes. I understand places get busy so I’m not going to hold that completely against them, however after waiting such an amount of time, I got my Margherita Pizza and it’s literally missing the majority of the toppings included with it. On top of that, it’s not even cooked all the way, the middle sections of the pizza, the cheese is cold. I never leave reviews and I’m a usually pretty understanding person but like come on. Anyway this location hit strike three and hopefully management can correct things with its staff.
This review is about one associate who brings a smile to my face every morning. Anna is so sweet and always has the best demeanor she's a gem at the store. I have been lucky to have her as an associate on my order several times and her sweet attitude never fails.
The mac and cheese was hard, sandwich had one peace of bacon and no sauce on it and it seemed a lot smaller than what I usually get at other Panera’s.
