I thought is was good. Must better than most of the Asian/Chinese restaurants I have been. Service was excellent and the atmosphere was good. OVERALL Excellent! Would come back and in fact I would order takeout. Nice hidden gem.
Fantastic and authentic Chinese food. Highly recommend the Beef Brisket Noodle Soup. 10/10 all around and never disappointed
Very good & real Chinese food! Candied Pecans, large prawns & bites of apple, my entree was great! Also, enjoyed the garlic cucumber appetizer/salad. So refreshing. We will be back ?
We are looking for something to eat for lunch from an event and not really familiar in the area. So we drove around area of Roseville and we ended up in Rocklin. Sometimes its a hit or miss when going to chinese restaurants specially if your new to the area. While driving, we saw a sign on the street saying. " JOY HOUSE grand opening."The place is warm and cozy its not big but small enough to relax and enjoy your food. We both order their lunch specials we ordered sweet and sour pork plus chowmein. There no long time of waiting for your food to serve which is perfect . The service is good. By far their sweet and sour pork is the best sweet and sour pork i ever tasted, pork is tender you cant taste or smell that it is frozen and just reheated it .the taste is sweet and litle tangy, the chowmein is good not really greasy the salad is that goes with our meal is excellent the salad it self is already a meal for me if im not really hungry im not really a fan of their sour soup though, im not sure what ingridents they use in that sour soup is like bland taste doesn't have any taste but soury taste. I would give 5 star for joy house restaurant for the food, service and cozinnes of the place.highly recommended!
The food here is more authentic Chinese food compared to most Chinese restaurants around the area. Several dishes are excellent and some were just ok. I highly recommend Mapo Tofu and Hunan Family Style Tofu. They are my favorites here. The won ton soup is good but be aware it is sized for about 3 to 4 people.The wait staff here is very friendly. The dining area is inviting and clean. Can get crowded and food coming out can be a little slow during meal times because the food is good. Pretty fast at off times if you are in a hurry.
We ordered Sweet and Sour Pork, Pork Fried Rice, General’s Chicken. Fast service, very tasty dishes, will definitely come again!
Delicious fresh food and soups. I went with a large group (15) of women who ordered everything on the menu so we were able to see many dishes and soups. Tangerine chicken, cashew chicken and Tofu with vegetables were highly recommended.
Best Chinese food in Rocklin. Staff is quick and polite. Food is well priced and well portioned. I highly recommend Joy House
It was very good and very reasonably priced. We both got lunch specials. The hot and sour soup was great and the entrees were perfect. Really enjoyable experience that we just happened into. We will try it again when we're next in Rocklin for sure.
We were really happy with our lunch. The price was a bit higher than I expected but the food and service were great. As others have noted, far better than other Chinese food in the area.
