Stopped by on my way to work. There aren't a whole lot of options outside Starbucks and Peet's in the area so when I spotted Edwin's, I had to stop and check it out.Locally owned and operated, roasting is done in small batches, on-site, the same way it's been done for over 25 years. I had a cappuccino and a blueberry muffin (fresh baked daily on site) at around 7:30-8am. By the time 10am rolled around I was back in the car returning to Edwin's to buy some beans to take home.One of the best cappuccinos I've had in a long time, and the muffin was to die for! I haven't tried the beans at home yet, but I would gladly wager they will not disappoint! I'll be back for sure and recommend checking it out if you love coffee
The coffee is off the charts good and rhe baked goods, don't get me started. Edwin has a great personality and wit. A trifecta if there ever was one. Love this hidden gem. So grateful he made it through the tougher days of COVID!
My favorite coffee shop! He roasts his own beans and that makes for an AMAZING cup of coffee! Edwin's Mom makes the BEST scones and pastries.( They do NOT compare to any other I have ever had) He is closed Monday and Tuesday so plan ahead!
You can taste the quality in every Bite. Very delicious offerings both savory and sweet.
I decided to try Edwin's today when I noticed the sign on my morning hunt for coffee and breakfast and I was not disappointed! The gentleman who helped me (I'm guessing it was Edwin himself, but I'm not 100% on that) was very nice and knowledgeable. He was patient in answering my questions and made everything to order. I ordered a breakfast sandwich along with my white chocolate mocha and it was actually made fresh! Not a frozen, premade sandwich that was quickly heated to scorching levels! It tasted homemade!Sure, the interior isn't the newest, but that's not why I go to a coffee house, so it didn't bother me.Edwin's is truly Rocklin's hidden gem and I'm happy I found it. I will be returning for sure!
This is how a coffee shop should be. Delicious (and freshly roasted) coffee. Delicious homemade food. This coffee shop has been setting the bar since the mid-nineties. Edwin also roasts his own beans on-site. A really great place.
My go-to coffee. Best tasting, Ed roasts his own. The baked goods are amazing. I recommend the caramel creme latte!
Ed’s is by far the smoothest, freshest, non-acidic coffee around. Great vibes, good company, great pastries…..the whole enchilada!!! Whether it’s whole bean for home brew, or hot/iced from the shop….it’s the best!!!
I came into Edwin’s coffee shop yesterday while on a walk and I got a blended white mocha with hazelnut and cookie dough flavor added in and it was amazing, better then a Starbucks frappuccino for sure. If you happen to be in the area stop by
