We came in starving wanting some good food. I wanted a chicken steak bowl. I tried to order white meat for my chicken and was told there is none. The gal said they have not cooked none. What...this is considered a healthy place with no white meat chicken. That sucks.Also there was a dead cockroach by the restroom. I don't recommend this place. Do better Waba Grill!!
Make sure you ask for soft rice because according to them they have hard and soft white riceThe store is so dirty and staff suck!!! Called to Complain about my rice being hard and the chicken making my stomach hurt.. to be told that i need to take it all back same day or to keep it in the freeze until i would like to go again!!! Plz just dont go !!Also there was flies inside!!! DIRTY PLACE !! JIST DROVE TO VAN BUREN THEY ARE CLEAN AND FOOD IS FRESH !!
My first time visiting Waba Grill with my husband since we moved to Riverside. We weren’t that hungry so we just asked for 10piece dumplings. The girl rang it up then brought her manager over who proceeded to tell us we couldn’t order the dumplings without getting a bowl. No where on the menu does it say the rules of ordering. Lol I think it’s hilarious that they are turning away business due to not wanting a bowl. I had to come check the reviews and to find I am not the only one who just wants dumplings lol. Horrible business. I’ll never go back. Sorry not Sorry :/
The girl at the cashier was in a bad mood and has an awful personality, best thing for this place is put her to wash dishes as she has no idea her pay largely depends on customers coming back to buy food again. I highly recommend going elsewhere and I will not come back.
Shredded beef, or chicken, white rice and broccoli. That's it! Not much on the menu. So if your on a diet and you just need a light, quick snack, this place is for you.
Food is good, but the manager or franchise owner that is always there doesn't care. I placed an order online through the app for 20 dumplings. I get charged and I show up for it, then he goes on to tell me that he can give me them unless I order a rice bowl?I said "that's okay no worries, can I just get a refund?"Apparently he doesn't know how to do it and instead just argues and insists that I have to cancel through the app. I do it but the app says to call or visit the store to process refund. Regardless, he didn't know or want to give me a refund and instead kept insisting on giving me a rice bowl.I didn't want a rice bowl, but my only options were to either leave without a refund because he didn't want to process it even though I was charged or take his offer of the steak rice bowl.So I had to take his offer otherwise I'd be empty handed. The crew there are nice people and the food is good. But their franchise owner/manager really needs help
Today our order was through the app. Three things went wrong with the order. First, this location( La Sierra and Magnolia) keeps their avocado peeled and kept in the fridge so it gets that brown color you have to scrape or cut off to get to the green. Second, one of our dishes asked for "no sauce" because of food allergies. The worker put sauce on it. Had to be remade. Third, this same "no sauce" order asked for brown rice. When I got the new order with no sauce, I failed to check the rice... it was steamed rice. Totally different than the new location on Van Buren and Orange Crest. They cut their avocado fresh and our previous no sauce and brown rice order came just as ordered.
?Came here for takeout ?Food is usually on pointCustomer service is marginal. Not very engaging. Pretty much robotic or routine.Interior needs a make over. Need to make it more appealing to the customers. Need to invest back into the property.Outdoor seating looks very unappealing. Definitely not a place I would sit to eat my meal. Outdoor seating needs a complete makeover.I have been to other locations and did not feel the same about them. Though some of them need upgrading they were still clean for their condition.I feel corporate needs canvas their restaurants and address the needs of each and every restaurant.
Excellent service and cleanliness. My fav bowl for filling up but not feeling heavy.
The cashier seemed to be having a bad day .. Went in for my usual chicken bowl and she tells me they don't have sweet and spicy bowl only to get yelled over by the cooks that everything is available .. But come on now take the time to cut slice the avocado ..
