Great sushi here. Well maintained, clean with nice ambiance. Went here on a date and had delicious sushi. I had a spicy rainbow role and it was fresh and flavorful. Price is reasonable. I will be coming back and would recommend this place to others too.
The service was amazing! The owner is so sweet and so are the staff. The food here is delicious!! It was also cheaper than any other sushi place I’ve ever been to. Definitely recommend!!
I placed an order on the phone and was about 15 minutes way they said it would be ready in 20 minutes no problem. I waited in the vehicle another 3 minutes before heading inside. It’s not as busy but I go inside and was standing for 7 minutes and was no acknowledged at all. Not a “Hi” or “be with you soon.” Understandable they know me I have been here before so I wait. After 7 minutes I sit down. Another 8 minutes pass by and one family leaves and pays bill and I am still there sitting. Then Two people walk in and get acknowledged asking for their names, two separate people. I walk out. WTH?? Really… Nope..
I had amazing service overall and an amazing waitress named Kelly went above and beyond to make sure we were satisfied. Recommend coming here there sushi is very good and fresh. Ask for Kelly when dining here.
The best sushi place in the whole I.E. great atmosphere. The food is delicious and the service is amazing. They are friendly and fast. I always have a great time coming here. Highly recommend!!!!!
This place has gone down quite a bit with the new management menu's have changed and the free ice cream is no longer included with all you can eat. The sushi was still good but service was slow at 3 in the afternoon with low traffic inside the restaurant
I had to change my review. It used to be my favorite sushi restaurant until ownership changed. The prices went sky high & the taste declined just as fast. This will be the last time I visit this restaurant.
By far the worst sushi restaurant I've tried. Waiter was doing a great job. It was a solo young man hustling trying to wait on everyone. It was early dinner on a weekend, not very busy. As usual with most restaurants, they wanted the majority of diners sitting in one section of the restaurant to make it easier for the wait staff. A single diner came in and wanted to sit in the opposite side of the restaurant. The waiter did the right thing and sat her where she wanted to. After all, we're still in a pandemic and if she wants to sit away from others, by all means, let her. The owner chastised the waiter for seating her in the unoccupied half of the restaurant. On to the food. The AYCE menu has, amongst other things, oysters. I order oysters. The waiter tells me they don't serve, again, amongst other things I ordered, oysters. When I told him it's on the menu, he seemed unaware they were on there. He said he'll have the manger/owner talk to me. When the manager/owner come to the table, she said they don't serve oysters. When I told her they were on the menu, along with other things I ordered that also didn't get served, she said those are the old menus. One of the reasons I decided to try this place, was the oysters. I tell you with 100% certainty that if I knew they didn't serve oysters, I would've gone somewhere else. That was one of the reasons I justified paying the hefty price.More about the food. I ordered shrimp tempura, I got panko shrimp from Costco. I ordered calamari, I got carboard that looked and tasted like it was pre-battered and frozen at a factory. The nigiri was a joke. I think the pictures speak for themselves. Aside from the tasteless, dense, and mushy rice, it's WAY too much rice for the paper-thin fish they put on top of it. Nevermind the bone I pulled out of the salmon. One of the rolls was a California roll topped with spicy tuna. Take a look at the photo, there's barely any spicy tuna on top. The other plate came drenched in sauce. For the price of this place, there are many other AYCE sushi places in the area with far better food and service. The friendly wait staff bumped this place up from 1 star to 2 stars.
The best sushi I had in a long time. I had a great time with my family and friends ❤. I diffently recommend sushi okoku to everybody who loves sushi
Horrible management. Our table was rarely attended to. The food was mediocre. The wait time between orders was atrocious. It took 1 and a half hours to get our first order and another hour and a half to get the second order. People were leaving due to long wait times. When complaining to the manager over how long the food took, she had just walked away from our table. If you can get their attention, the staff is helpful and kind.
