A very very nice family ran breakfast place, food is great along with amazing ambiance, very homey. The staff are the nicest staff members you will see in riverside. Great experience, would come back again.
Not a bad place to eat at. Friendly staff. It's definitely an old style place. Good food and alot on your plate.
Great little lunch spot. I had the Quiche - it was delicious and the serving very generous. The waitress was friendly and attentive.
Great little place to eat..Booths, and tables, busy , with reasonable prices for nice plate of food.. Quick service with great service..The Soup Shoppe is neat and clean as well. Refeshing!!
Soup Shoppe was just okay.My girlfriend and I decided to give this place a shot for breakfast and weren't impressed. Our initial hopes were high because the ambiance is cute and it has pretty good reviews but the food fell short of our expectations.When you walk in you feel like you stepped foot inside someone's home. The service is also excellent. We went for breakfast and the place was packed but our server was attentive and kept our coffees filled. I ordered a basic breakfast and everything was super greasy. There was a pool of grease under my bacon and even my eggs were glossy. There was so much grease I had to use an entire napkin to dab up all the excess, not a good look for sure. The flavor of the food was mediocre at best. When I go out to eat I at least want the food to be prepared better than I can make myself. I did not feel like the food was anything special. The pancakes were tiny and very plain. There was nothing to set them apart. I asked for my hash brows well done and they arrived soft and mushy at best.I would give this place a try again but for the time being, I'll leave Soup Shoppe at 3 stars.
Don't like it ..been twice and disappointing both times...they can't cook a over easy egg without leaving it with white snot
Had the Chicken fried steak and eggs with biscuits and gravy. The biscuits are delicious and fluffy and the service is amazing. Definitely will be back.
Talk about your perverbial family hole in the wall and town gem!!! My brother told me about this place . One-day while waiting to go to the Little Green onion he noticed it. He said it was awesome . It had to try it. It's rather small location but....what it lacks in size it makes up for in service, quality and taste. The staff is super friendly and totally about the customer. The owner was even helping out which was cool. I ordered the crepes and the eggs and house potatoes with sausage. ?!!!! Loved it. My server who I forgot her name was the best...regular coffee warm up's and ensured I was taken care of. Got a new place to frequent for breakfast!!!
You won't be disappointed eating here. Best biscuits and gravy I've had so far. They only serve breakfast and lunch. 7-2pm Had the garbage plate delicious. Their sausage link has a spicy kick. Homemade soups and pies and quiche.
