Ordered the Omnipork Yakisoba and the bao buns. Very disappointing. The noodle dish was so bland, only flavor came from the omnipork, but was not enough to save it. One piece of broccoli, and very little else as far as veggies. Again, shocked at how flavorless this was. Bao buns were not at all tasty, had the consistency of a marshmallow. I was looking forward to eating here, but it was not worth $31. Ended up throwing out the buns. Can’t recommend.
Not a traditional Japanese Ramen and rice! High price but not Japanese food which should be served. Don't try if you wanna try Japanese food. The pic is my order. The pork rice was just few slice of pork belly, little corn and veg on rice.
This place honestly deserves a zero for false advertisement! I went yesterday for my birthday and it was just horrible. So I ordered two simple dishes. Chicken teriyaki bowl and shrimp yakisoba noodles. It was still EARLY mind you, around 8:15 p.m. when we ordered. For the next half hour we literally STOOD there and watched EVERYONE who ordered well after us get their order FIRST. I asked what is the deal " ten minute's" is all I heard. The girl then leaves our watered down tea's on the counter and she said we were next. Well 9:15 rolls around and we finally get our order.I was disgusted not only to find that my food was Luke warm at best, but the shrimp was rubberized, and the rice overcooked and chicken bland. They should be ashamed of that yakisoba noodles. I lived in Japan for two long year's and that was NOT YAKISOBA. I will never eat here again, overpriced and extremely overrated.
Soho? More like So-horrible. Bento box tasted terrible and had tiny proportions. Literally waited a whole hour to get my flavorless onion water, 2 oz of beef and some vegetables with rice. I also got chicken yakisoba which was also very hard and bland as well. Also received a hair specimen in my food as well. Literally don’t know how this place is still open.
Well, in hindsight I wish I had looked at reviews prior to ordering. It was my first time at the Food Lab and I ordered the tonkotsu ramen. Service was good, but man, what a bummer of a meal. Protein and egg wasn’t bad, but the broth tasted diluted and lacked everything you’d expect in a good bowl of tonkotsu. Save your money and go elsewhere.
I just don’t understand. I ordered ramen from here. You sent it poorly packed and the broth went everywhere. There was more broth in the bowl than how much i poured into my bowl of ramen. I’m NEVER ORDERING FROM HERE AGAIN
This establishment was mediocre, at best. The miso soup that came with the bento box had no flavor. The bento boxes were small and not worth the money we paid. The food had no flavor, was cold (we waited almost 10 mins) and the portions were so small, we ended up throwing the food out. Wish we had read the reviews beforehand.
Horrible customer service. Over 45 minute wait for the order to be ready. Very over price and they don't respect the costumers time. Waited 15 minutes after received food for boba. Boba should be made daily in the morning BEFORE OPENING NOT WHILE YOURE PICKING UP YOUR FOOD ORDER.Horrible horrible horrible. Good thing I ordered through doordash and got $50 back to my card and $50 in credits. Never again ordering from this place! Zero stars!!
The beef bulgogi was good but the ramen is not. The noodles were soft and there’s no option to make it spicy just sriracha sauce. I added chicken to the ramen and it was chewy as still cold in the middle. I asked for a refund or to order a bulgogi bowl so I could eat with my husband but they refused.
I ordered the taro milk tea and the Thai Beef Lettuce Wraps. The tea had no flavor and the lettuce wraps are easily the worst thing I've had at the food lab. For $10 the meat looked unappetizing, it was hard, dry and had no flavor. I waited 40 minutes for this food and I wish that I canceled my order when I first thought about it. It's sad because I normally like this place but I cant see myself giving them money again for a long time.
