Shakey’s my Son is a huge fan, I LOVE THEIR MOJO Potatoes ❤️❤️❤️?Was passing by to see a friend earlier that morning and said to my Son we will stop for lunch, our usual Shakey’s is in Harbor Blvd in Anaheim. This location, parking is tight but still accommodated us. Entrance and service as we entered was fast.Plenty of Mojo Potatoes and the pizza we had was fresh and delicious.Nice Atmosphere, love that the game area is separate as less noisy a calmer easier experience.I loved the experience here as did my Son.Thank You Shakey’s for having us.
First time here and the food was really good and hot. The fiery hot pizza was not spicy at all, though I thought it would be. The mojo potatoes were life changing. Also some of the best chicken tenders I've had.
The owner needs a serious upgrade on the Ac in this establishment unfortunately for today we had a team party and it was extremely hot in there,I kindly addressed it to the manager but did not like his correspondence he was a little bit rude based on that situation and I understand he doesn't have control of things like this but having open an establishment on a hot day like this could not be good however fast forward the pizza was really good my kids had fun hopefully next time it's not so darn hot in there and they take care of it I just wish the manager would have been a little bit more cordial about the situation
Absolute horrible experience. Ordered 70.00 worth of food to wait for 45 min to get it.so ordered some salads to hold us over. Had to ask the staff to refresh the sald bar only to get a huff and puff. Received our pizza mojoes and Chicken. Only for the chicken to be dry and no flavor so asked for some ranch or bbq sauce only to be told there is a charge . Are you kidding after paying almost $90.00 you can't spare a couple of sauces. Disgusted we left.
Can’t you’re running around by our table throwing a ball we were afraid our drinks were gonna fall so we couldn’t even eat comfortable because of the parents don’t know how to take care of their kids that’s not a play area to play areas on the other side
Last time I was at Shakey's about 10 yrs ago, I had given up on it. But a good friend invited me over and I have to say that it was worth it. The staff under Gustavo is very helpful and friendly. Considering how busy it was, they stayed cool, calm, and collected. They kept the location clean and the service fast. I also noticed Gustavo checking the tables and asking customers if everything was ok. In a time when personal touch and attention to customers is rare, this place makes me feel like am back in the 90s out for dinner on a Friday night. Thank you for all your hard work and delicious foods. I will definitely come back. The kids were very happy, and we were able to have a good time. The portions were good and we even had leftovers.
My son bit into his chicken and blood came out it was not cooked. I went to get more and none were cooked they all had blood. I told the manager and she didn't care she just told the cook to add a few more to the tray and left the uncooked chicken there too. She assumed I didn't speak Spanish because she told the cook to only add a few so I would stop complaining. So rude. If my son gets sick this place will be hearing from my lawyer. I saved the chicken and photos
The taste of the fried chicken and mojos was good as usual. But, the owner here, I assume this is a franchise location, may want to consider the relationship between customer satisfaction and interval of return visits. At 6:45 PM I was in this restaurant amongst a total of approximately 12 customers in the larger side of the restaurant. I've been a food service store manager and understand the need to control food cost, but I also know the message sent to your customers with very very small pieces of chicken is a very noticeable one. You charge a mid to premium price for your chicken, $9.49 for 4 pieces of chicken alone, yet I'd estimate that the vast majority of restaurants with chicken serve chicken at least double the size of yours. You can't believe that isn't noticable. There's those of us, including myself, who consider the draw of Shakey's the chicken and mojos. The employees were great, the service great. But, I doubt I'll ever visit this location again. It's not so much the money itself, it's that I think it's not a great idea to support a business owner who doesn't appear to have a strong handle on the value of customer satisfaction and business practices which consider the bigger picture.Franchisee: I already eluded to this, but I want to emphasize the point. While your pizza is good and your lunch buffet is probably quite popular, I want to remind you that what makes Shakey's unique is your chicken and mojos. If you're disappointing the customers there it can be a significant hit to your sales. I'm guessing doubling the size of your chicken would be less than a 10% hike on the food cost of the chicken alone, not on total sales(For any who might not fully understand that, the 10% I speak of is the cost as a percentage of the retail price of the product). I believe what that change can do for your store's reputation, which should extend to total sales, is likely to be significant as you give the customers time to notice the change. Remember that a customer who shows up once every couple months could become a customer showing up 2 or 3 times per month and is likely to order more than just chicken.I do wish you plenty of success and I hope you will think about what I've suggested.
It's OK. Definitely brought back some memories. Pizza was good. My kids had fun with the few arcades they had. Won a few small prizes. We went for the memories.
Needed a better dessert for their lunch and variety of pizza I've been to better bunch of lunches at other Shakey's before. This one didn't have the fried mushrooms that I really enjoy.
